there is supposed to be a pin that the slot/hook sets on not sure if there is another plate that is supposed to behind there. In the link here is a picture and also the manual showing the bolts and the pin. I think there is a post of two members that swapped tops may show if there is another...

I recived and installed my kit yesterday.... its fantastic! Probably the best mod ive done yet. Also Bonus for those that get this, this removes alot of soft top rattle noises from the top! THANK YOU for a great product!

So I just spent some time to adjust my top. For mine I needed to move the solid "catches" back all the way. I also has to go back and forth with the "cable tension" adjustment until they both locked in easily. I also had my seals that didn't align correctly between the front section and the rear...

Did you have to make any seal adjustments to the middle? My latches above the doors is super tight. I was trying to find an adjustment procedure from a ford manual. I will need to fold it back again and see if I can adjust the alignment of the seals too

Has any one seen a ford service page on adjusting the soft top? My center latches above the rear doors are very hard to latch and unlatch in position 1 and 2. I also have what appears to be misaligned weather seal where the two sections meet above rear window. I know I can bring it back to ford...

Watching this as well as the other thread. I am just settling on a tow bar but when the weather gets a little better its time to get it tested out. It seems that it wouldnt be too hard for Ford to have the bcm timeout set to infinite when flat tow is enabled. Ford really needs to figure this...

That is where the problem is apparently showing up in neutral tow the electronic brake boost is timing out

Is there an idle time setting that can be changed? I thought i saw somewhere that it was 30 min idle. I ask because for us that want to flat tow the 2.7 behind our motorhome the Brakes on the 2.7 are electric assist but it sounds like the electric assist shuts off around 30-40 mins and the brake...
