I have this same issue with 21 Badlands. Sometimes the screen is just black and never connects, backup camera doesnāt work, etc. I also have the issue where half the screen is black. Turning the bronc off and back on doesnāt immediately resolve it.
I had a similar rattling sound coming from my 2-door. I put a piece of PPF on the top of the rear door where the back window rubs on the paint. That fixed mine.
I ordered through them. My salesguy, Nic, did not provide a lot of info through the wait/build process. He didn't really seem to have any more than I did. Although, he did know that I was in the very top of the allotments. (I received mine the day after Thanksgiving.)
The actual sales process...
The lease on my 2018 Audi SQ5 was up before my Bronco's arrival, so I ended up driving my husband's 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro manual for a year.
Overall, it was fun to drive. I didn't love the gearing. Going up an even slight hill, I'd have to shift down to third to sputter up it. Lots of shifting...
There are a few places near salt lake. The Wasatch Skyline trail is easy, but you get some great views of the valley. You can go a little southwest and hit 5 mile pass. Itās more desert-y. Little Moab is near 5 mile pass. If you want to try out some sand, thereās Little Sahara out there too.
Overall, I love my 2 door Badlands Lux. Super minor quirks for me:
The wiper controls being on the turn signal tree. It would be nice for it to be separate. The first time I tried turning on my wipers, I turned on each turn signal and flashed my brights. When theyāre separate you can just pull...
My manual Badlands has the hill hold. It works well. We had a Jetta with that feature and it was really strange when it disengaged. With the bronc, itās really slight, but helpful.
I have never owned a domestic vehicle, but I have been in love with the 60's style Broncos since I was 16. When I saw the retro look AND found out it was coming in a manual, I was sold.
