  1. 4-Door Too Small?

And if we keep that up, I better be looking at 15 passenger vans instead of Broncos!
  2. 4-Door Too Small?

Well, she actually just corrected me. 34 months for all three of them. I did find out about number 2 after getting back from a month hunting in BC though....very suspicious.
  3. 4-Door Too Small?

Hahaha!!! Seriously, three kids in 44 months. They must put something in the water here!
  4. 4-Door Too Small?

I am in the same boat as well, with three kids under 4 and a 65 pound dog to consider. We currently have a 2016 4Runner and have made it work for weekend trips, especially with a receiver hitch carrier on the back. I have considered getting a truck, but want the dog inside with us on trips and...
  5. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

A 180? How so? I know the Ford employee answered in the Q&A that they were the same, then said travel was limited and there is as you said, a discrepancy in height. We are all trying to figure out as much as we can about a vehicle that has not been released and this forum has some great info...
  6. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

I would say that Sasquatch being offered as an option on Badlands is plenty of reason to believe otherwise. Ford used different language describing the SAS suspension and the Badlands suspension as well. SAS is not available for manuals at this time, another reason to question if there are...
  7. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

I think that is very likely and this pricing is another indication of exactly that. I have seen theories that spacers are used or that the Sasquatch provides more lift than the Badlands suspension. The shocks may have some adjustment capability, but there just doesn’t look like there is any...
  8. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

According to the Preliminary Spec sheet, the Sasquatch wheels are 17x8.5 vs 17x8 for the Badlands. Also, that is for 5 wheels and tires, which works out to $500 per. Considering that 315/70/17's are going to run around $300 a pop, that leaves $200 per wheel for 17x8.5 beadlock capable wheels...
  9. Rear Camera Eyesore

Agreed, whether it is factory or aftermarket, it is almost a necessity to have something to hold the weight while mounting and removing the spare.
  10. Rear Camera Eyesore

I am sure the aftermarket will come up with some options. A buddy picked up a totally aftermarket camera and mounted it on the underside of his RTT. Personally, I don’t care for them and won’t mind it being covered. Trasharoos are an amazing piece of gear, I am on my third or forth one and...
  11. Rear Camera Eyesore

I will be adding on a Trasharoo to fix that eye sore day one!
  12. Could Sasquatch "high clearance suspension" mean a 2 inch lift?

Until we see published data from Ford, I think all of the comparisons and estimations need to be taken with a grain of salt. This group has put together some really good info based on what Ford has provided, but as with the estimated .6” difference between the Badlands and Sasquatch suspensions...
  13. Could Sasquatch "high clearance suspension" mean a 2 inch lift?

Actual overall diameter for tires varies quite a bit from brand to brand and even with different models by the same manufacturer, but Ford has told us what tires will be used on the different trims. The standard Badlands tires are BFG KO2’s (285/70/17). According to Discount Tire and Tire Rack...
  14. 2 door vs 4 door flex / RTI score

I think that is exactly where the RTI shows that it isn’t a perfect tool for measuring capability. Articulation allows for more contact with the ground, which provides traction and stability. Larger tires (additional ground clearance), lockers, skid plates, and proper gearing are all things...
  15. 2 door vs 4 door flex / RTI score

I would say that the amount of vertical travel between the 2 door and 4 door is comparable. What are your concerns?
  16. 2 door vs 4 door flex / RTI score

I think it is really cool to see that the difference between connected sway bar and disconnected works out to about 5” on the 2door and 4.8” on the 4 door. That is a huge difference!
  17. 2 door vs 4 door flex / RTI score

Yes, RTI scores are based off of the wheelbase of the vehicle being compared to the distance traveled up the ramp (distance traveled divided by wheelbase x 1000, or (70.28/100.4)x1000= 700. The degree of ramps varies, but 20 degrees is commonly used, but be careful comparing numbers from...
  18. Modular Front Bumper

I really hope that the high mount winch option is available. Ford did an amazing job tucking the factory bumper in tight to the body and that low winch mount just ruins that and takes away a lot of the approach angle they had.
  19. Reverse Lights

Relays are really handy for this type of install. You can wire it up to activate your backup light with the factory lights and tie it into an auxiliary switch as well. I am a big fan of the Rigid LED's and they have a lot of options as far as output, beam pattern, size, and color.
  20. Aux Switch Uses - Ideas??

I had a switch panel in my JK with the Ejector Seat label on my air compressor, which was mounted under the passenger seat. I can't tell you how many surprised looks I got from people when I would flip that switch and the seat would start vibrating :)
