  1. Who's ready to tap out?

I reserved two day one. Already gave up the FE and delayed the Badlands. I plan to sit on the Badlands reservation as long as I can to see how things shake out. My level of excitement has dropped considerably. If I 'needed' another vehicle today, even if they were available, it would not be a...
  2. 2.3 power pack Ford Performance factory tune for auto and/or manual?

I have been on the fence about placing my BL order because of the lack of 2.7/MT. A confirmed tune that gets me to the 2.7 numbers plus, may push me off the fence.
  3. Nissan dealers plea for Xterra return amid 4x4 SUV boom

I love my Xterra. The new Bronco will have big shoes to fill.
  4. Leveling kit (front only) is that okay? ...(wheel gap #s included, FYI)

Or a couple of beer bellied buddies in the back...
  5. Leveling kit (front only) is that okay? ...(wheel gap #s included, FYI)

Suspension is pretty simple. There is a limited amount of movement. Something is going to stop the wheel from moving up and something is going to stop it from going down. Properly designed those somethings are safe and reliable ways to stop the movement. People get into trouble when they start...
  6. Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

I like that Green. That said, based on the picture, I think Ford and I have different definitions of what body color painted is.
  7. Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

I will gladly pay the $1895 to have a 2.7L mated to the 7 Speed MT on my Badlands. Wonder if Ford is listening?
  8. Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

I like how when you select one of the non MIC top options the price is increased but the picture shows no top. Maybe Ford is trying to be funny?
  9. Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

$4k to Sasquach a Badlands now? Then another $2k to get the V6?
  10. What’s wrong with the factory installed which?

if you're NOT getting the front camera and don’t need to debate synthetic v. steel, what am I missing? Those are two pretty big IFs.
  11. ? 4dr Badlands in Carbonized Gray w/ Soft Top and Steel Front Bumper

Love that brush guard. Should have made it a little wider so they could cover the headlights too. ?
  12. Are you waiting for Mansquatch...

Depends on the difference between the BL and Squatch components.
  13. Do I miss out on much without sway bar disconnect?

I think the built in disconnect is great for people that are not going to make much if any suspension modifications. Buy it and drive it types. I have read on this forum that it is only for 'hard core' offroaders. I don't really agree. The so called 'hard core' folks are going to replace the...
  14. Badlands Standard versus Squatch Suspension

Good to know, I never built a AT Badlands. Why would you? ;)
  15. Badlands Standard versus Squatch Suspension

This might be old but it states that the BL, WT, FE come standard with the same dampers as the Sasquatch.
  16. Badlands Standard versus Squatch Suspension

It is one thing to get an idea of height but before I order I would like to know what parts are different. Maybe the lift is as simple as stiffer springs, increased pre-load, or thicker top mount, with all other things being sized to work across all models. Or maybe there are different part...
  17. Badlands Standard versus Squatch Suspension

Resurrecting this thread. Nearly a month closer to having to place an order, has anyone received anything definitive about the differences between the Badland's suspension and the Sasquatch? Searching this site and others it seems about half think it is the same and half think it is different...
  18. Test Drove 2.3L Ranger & 2.7L in F150 and was disappointed... Options to improve off the line?

I have not driven a 2.3 or 2.7. For comparison, my current rig with all the extra weight of bumpers and armor is in the ballpark of the bronco. After tuner, intake, exhaust the HP/Torque is in the ballpark. No complaints daily driving. Get it loaded with all the gear you need for a week of fun...
  19. V8 HEMI 392 Jeep Wrangler production model announcement teaser. Will Ford answer with V8 Bronco?

I have never been a fan of the 4 door Barbie Jeep but have to admit that after watching that video, I ventured over to the jeep website.
