I had the opposite problem. My Ford account updated, but I didn't receive any confirmation email for nearly 4 days afterwards. From what it sounds like, you converted your order on 1/22. Maybe you can call the Ford customer service number and see what they have in their system? Could be that the...
For family road trips, I don't think the factory suspension or tire size is going to dictate the comfortability. It will do with the how comfortable the seats are. I had a JKU and the rear seats were horrible for long trips for those who sat in the rear, even after I installed some spacers to...
If he does not want to provide it, ask him what their doc fees and such are and then find out what the tax rate is for your state. Should be able to calculate that and get a ball park of what to expect. I know it sucks, and he should be able to quickly provide that given the pricing is out there...
For me, we sat down in his office and went through everything. Since I already knew what I wanted, it was pretty a pretty quick process. He asked if I wanted any of the accessories (door bags, floor mats, etc). He then did print out of the order and had me sign it. This had the MSRP price of my...
I've had both a hard top and soft top Jeep. Loved the no planning required with the soft top (just take it down when the mood strikes), but also loved quieter ride from the hard top.
One of those things where it's potentially delay delivery just for a hard top, or get vehicle and worry about the hard top later. I am in no dire need of a hard top
To help speed up delivery time, I'm opting for a soft top and then later getting the black modular hard top. I know that if I only get the soft top, it will not come with the electrical/washer fluid connections for the hard top. I've seen a lot of writeups on Jeep forums of people who have done...
@Nite93 Nice, I have no idea what exactly my number is at the dealer, other than my dealer said I was on the allocation list. Only thing that will keep me from getting my hands on one early is the availability of materials for the lux package and the 2.7l engine. Here's to hoping it's not that...
@gamma_j I hear ya on that. I've been all over the place from colors to different options. I was sold on the Badlands pretty early on for a few different reasons, but everything else has been an emotional roller coaster..lol
@Mattwings I'll inquire about it when I go in to place my order. I was supposed to go in on Wednesday but work is getting in the way so now it's pushed back to Thursday.
@Gr8Hortoni That is true. I think the only other thing, given my setup, that it would give me is the 4.7 gears instead of the 4.46 and I'm ok with that. Like you said, it's one less thing on the potential delay list.
@BCA I want the black hard top as well. Reason why I'm willing to get the soft top now and wait until more hard top options come out. Granted, I will lose the rear windshield wiper functionality, but I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to add that in myself.
So I'm curious with order banks opening in a couple of days, how solidified are you on your choices? I'm about 95% solidified. Doing a 4-door Badlands in Antimatter Blue with the 2.7l engine and lux package (got hooked on that adaptive cruise control and have some long trips planned), and...
