Waited 574 days for my order now. That’s over 19 months. Like a lot of others, I suppose.
I am reaching the end of my rope. The full size bronco has been in production for 241 days. That’s 8 months now.
Surely disappointing.
Couldn't find an updated list of commodities that would slow down your build for the 2022.
Fire away if you have valid info.
Is the 2.7 still a slow down? Tow package? Sasquatch? MIC hard top, in theory?
Update: seems to be working normal. The forum was kicking up an error for a period of time.
Can't even open a thread. Keep getting an error page every time.
So, I have a 2-door order on 7/17. Think that's considered "early"? Or am I a little late on the trigger pull?
2-door
2.3L auto
black diamond
mid package
sasquatchy
nothing more.
To me is is absolutely necessary for anyone who offroads.
It makes the ride on almost any terrain much smoother. Especially on dirt roads with potholes, ruts, and washboard.
It smoothens up the ride quality so much that I would honestly never consider having a connected sway bar when...
That's respectable.
You have experience reconnecting a manual connect on a vehicle with IFS?
Easier or harder than a solid front? It can be a pain on a solid axle to get them to line up and get the pins in.
Yeah, likely only requires 4 bolts to pop the brackets off. And the two bolts holding the sway bar ends to the links. Pretty straight forward.
Now... remove the rear? lmao
In a Jeep with a solid front axle it's a whole other world not having the front sway bar connected.
In my IFS colorado, it really wasn't much a difference on road. Minimal body roll.
Yeah, removing the sway bar is far easier than having to manually connect and disconnect constantly.
In Jeeps it can be quite the pain to reconnect after a day or two on a trail. Requires rocking the vehicle back and forth, a helping hand, and/or moving the vehicle to get it closer to lining...
I got a black diamond. But yeah, just asking for opinions regarding who will remove theirs, and what other options people recommend.
I have dealt with manual disconnects before.
Anybody have experience with similar independent front suspension vehicles and daily driving with the front sway bar completely removed?
I drove my Chevy Colorado ZR2 its entire life without the front sway bar in and it handled just fine.
I do know it causes a bit more body roll for normal...
Edit:
I figured my problem out.
When adding squatch it was also adding "4-door advanced 4x4" at $790. That makes up the difference.

Every build I have done results in their math being incorrect in the build & price.
Not entirely sure...
@Chief1301 I can't recall the exact date. But I believe it was before they decided to change and honor x-plan. My interaction with him was less than stellar. He shot down my attempts to haggle and even get x-plan, which to be honest isn't much savings over MSRP at all. These dealers are making...
