I've had this happen several times in my badlands, it is unnerving to say the least. I have only noticed it when I am in 4lo and it happens when you are slowing down, it might be a down shift but the rpm surges to over 3k which causes the truck to accelerate even though you are on the brakes...

Week Three of owning my Bronco. Had a great day out at Cleghorn Sunday, the weather was perfect. Ran into a guy with an old beater Toyota pickup on 42" tires that helped me through some of the crazy off shoots. Then hit the 4000 foot trail for some beautiful scenery.
Just bought a badlands sas about two weeks ago and looking forward to find some people to go out with. We are in the Pasadena area and have been to Rowher flats a couple times now
Bought it Saturday, wheeled it Sunday. took her on the Rowher flats 4x4 trail. She did great, love the front camera for coming up over hills and tire placement on ruts.
Thanks everyone for your help, Kearny Ford was very straight up with pricing after a little negotiation but ended up going with autonation Valencia. Got just under 9k off msrp on a loaded Badlands. Kearny was right about 7k
I actually do all my deals before I step in the door but want to avoid shitty dealers in general. asking for advice from people who have actually bought Broncos doesn’t make me a goober it means I’m doing my homework. Not every dealer is going to be willing to give a good deal.
What dealers in Los Angeles/San Diego area have you had the best experience with and gotten a good deal? What dealers should I be cautious of?
Have been looking to buy a Badlands/Sasquatch with high/lux for a while and rented one in Sedona and made me want it even more
