I'm up to a strong 5 active recalls. Fuel pump, rear shocks, 2 rear cameras ones, and the very silly seatbelt plastic clip. Might have basically a brand new bronco by 2027 at this rate.
This is correct, they just need to either be drilled slightly larger or in my case I did some grinding. Not a deal breaker imo, but does add to the install time.
The 2 door is just too much of a toy size, if ford actually sold many they would be the same price as the cheapest 4 door. The only people who want one are a few dozen folk on here.
I love my 22, it was built well. Sure there are probably a few things I could knick knack here and there, but the Bronco is fun as hell to drive and I'd never let tiny things get in my way of enjoying that. My F150 before it went 15 years and 150k miles, only had to take it a mechanic 2 times...
Those who are wondering, it probably protrudes around 1.5 inches beyond the factory point and hangs lower. You do lose a bit of approach angle for sure, but that is not uncommon with winches.
Pictures as promised. The trim push pins going to the top are a bit of a pain, actually used a different set I had. Haven't mounted the winch yet, will probably do that at tomorrow since it's raining out today so I couldn't tension it anyhow. Included some crappy pictures of the outer frame horn...
Got the first half of the install done today, using Maximus's frame horn reinforcements. Kind of a pain in the butt as the outer reinforcement hardware was too big for the existing hole. Had to rig up my foredom to grind the hole bigger. I have a 22 so maybe not a problem on newer broncos. Will...
Mine was supposed to come today, but even after sitting at the local delivery warehouse since Saturday it was still delayed until tomorrow. UPS struggles around here these days.
I got the reinforcements from Maximus. Probably will install this weekend and test it out by adding some tension to...
Suppose I should see about cancelling my preorder so I can get in on the bronco6g discount. Pretty excited about this thing, have had a warn evo sitting around since that $315 deal from awhile back. Just haven't wanted to mount a full time winch up front due to having to reroute the sensors and...
I attended yesterday, what a fantastic time. Beautiful trails and a nice facility. The catered lunch was great as well, didn't stick around for dinner so I could catch up with a buddy for some fly fishing near the campsite before sundown.
Had Ken as our guide, absolutely fantastic guy. Great...
I booked a campsite, $30 right on a creek. Will get up there early Friday and fly fish all day. Then pack up the next morning and make the 15 minute drive.
I'm pretty pumped they added this location. Being in the Atlanta area, everything was basically a flight away. Would've loved Moab but I'd rather just eventually drive out there.
I was thinking of just letting my voucher lapse, but since this is 3 hours away I already booked it.
Even with my last post, I still agree with you to not buy from China when you can. I'm not a mall crawler but I do have 2 very young kids that keep me from getting out as much as I want. With that said, $270 is hard to argue against from Warn, insane good deal.
Trade is important. American made...
If Warn has a presence at the factory I think they can absolutely maintain a reasonable level of quality. This isn't some brand new winch that's untested. It's likely not professional quality but I can't find anything that says it isn't solid for occasional use. If I was a guide or constantly...
