With all the delays/changes/bs I decided I didn’t want to fork over $50k+. So I went a different route ...
2005 (997) for fun (and tinkering)
and
2021 SR5 “premium” for family hauling.
The 4Runner is a lease and when it’s up the BS around the Bronco will have died down and I can swap it out...
I don’t know if anyone has noticed but if you select the 2.7L option for the OBX you are only charged the $1,895 up charge for the engine (the auto transmission is included) ....UNTIL you select the “advanced 4x4 system” whereupon the B&P charges the entire $1,595 (the same price as the auto...
Ford has turned what should have been a “fairly straightforward” launch of a beloved nameplate into a clown show and are seemingly pissing goodwill away like a trip to the bar urinal after a six-hour bender. And they are either oblivious to it all or just don’t give a f....
Let’s recap:

Anyone else wondering if - five years from now when we look back at the vehicles built during this pandemic - we are going to see quality issues across all manufacturers, makes and models for all vehicles built during COVID?
I can’t see how there won’t be some fallout between plant...
So a while ago, I put together a list of options using the "survey pricing" and subsequent builds and it *looks* like the B&P is actually a touch cheaper than those earlier projections.
Anyway here is a comparison of my top three choices:
Black Diamond +SASQUATCH, +MID PACKAGE, +MIC top, +...
Found this at a neighboring hotel, (9/23/2020) out near the Denver airport, so I walked over and got some pics of it AND what sure looked like a cammo’d Jeep Wagoneer (and Grand Wagoneer) tester!
Seeing the 2-door in person - it’s a nice little truck. It was parked next to f-150 (for size...
(edit) Added all the trims - in black - with “equal” specs.
Base
Base trim - $34,695
2.7L/10spd -$1600/included
Sasquatch - $5000
= Total $41,595
Cloth seats, carpet floor, 8” screen.
Big Bend
Base trim - $37,880
Gray hardtop - $700
2.7L/10spd -$3500
Sasquatch - $5000
Mid package - $1500

Anyone else think that the four door would look slightly better if the hardtop (and soft top) had a slight sloping rear window. Aka a very gentle fastback. Maybe not parallel to the sport bar, but just a slight incline ala the FSB?
I think it would knock down a lot of the awkwardness of the...
The “other” forum posted a close pic of gauge cluster. We’ve seen some of the test rigs clusters but this one looks more polished/closer to production than the “windows-esque” test screen data on the test rigs.
I like the layout of the off-road info and the Speedo on the left.

Ford’s official Instagram account just posted a few pics of various Bronco 2/4 Door (and sport) with “Picture (x) Available Spring 2021” for the 2/4 Doors and “Picture Available Late 2021)” for the Sport models.
and thelink to the IG post here ?

Ford is making a relatively big deal about the rubberized flooring (anyone remember when ALL trucks had vinyl floors) ... the few clear pics available of it the flooring looks like it’s a molded/adhered flooring. BUT there are some aftermarket sources that sell a replacement (molded) rubber...
The two door Bronco is a masterpiece of design. Period.
but ...
Does anyone else think the (specifically) naked four door just looks right? With the roof on it looks a little ungainly but take the doors and the top off and the big roll cage and all those seats just IMHO makes the four door...
New to the forums ....
Anyone else thinking a Black Diamond with Sasquatch will get you almost everything the Badlands is sporting (minus the sway bar disconnect) for about the same as a base Badlands?
Assuming that “$6,780” figure for a hardtop/2.7/auto and Sasquatch (the price difference...
