I am having the same dilemma. But for me in the long run I think I order squatch and downgrade in tire size if necessary. Here is why. I want the bigger flares, suspension and gearing. Downsizing tires will be easier than gearing etc if I decide I want 35s at some point.

There is more to the squatch than just 35's. To me, if you plan to go to the 35's on your own you have money better spent getting the package from Ford. Better shocks, gears, front locker, higher clearance fenders and all under warranty with trans/engine/speedo calibrated for it.

I am going 35's regardless, but in reality still ON the road way more than off. Nothing I cannot fix myself but really don't need the MT's for my purpose. Blasphemy I know! LOL

Same issues, I like OBX but hate the body color stuff. But, saw a pic of OBX with Squatch and looks like it may get black fenders with that, it can also get optioned with the modular bumper. I would jump up from BD to OBX is the fenders are black with the Squatch..

I don't lik ethe painted OBX flares either so was going to settle for BD but I saw a pic of OBX on the configurator thread and it looks like OBX with Squatch gets you black flares? Anyone else notice this. So I may go OBX 2.7 Squatch lux now. Plus can add front modular bumper to OBX.
