I am sure I will eventually Modify mine heavily. I will probably hold off at the start because I ordered a first edition. The I have no damned patience demon in me wouldn't let me wait until Ford releases a Raptor version of the Bronco to buy one. So my solution was buy a First edition and bank...
Backup plan? I don't need no stinking backup plan. Sure the FE Interior in Tidy bowl blue is almost as Ugly a warthogs butt. Thankfully there are custom seats available from mastercraft and door panels and trim panels can be changed or painted.
I will be going with BFG TKM 3s as soon as possible in 35 or 37. I have them on both my Broncos currently the handling offroad is great, on road manners are good and the road hum is minimal for a mud tire. Best tires I have owned IMO
Everyone needs to temper their expectations. The new Bronco will compete with Jeep from Launch. We can argue in this scenario all day long.
The bottom line is in trails, mudding, desert running and situations other than hard heavy duty rock climbing they will compete with the Bronco and Jeep...
King Ranch Leather holds up remarkably well Mine in my 250 is almost nine years old and still looks almost pristine. And its out in the sun all the time and offraoded with the sunroof and windows down. I have not been gentle with it and it looks gorgeous.
The V-8 Jeep will probably Force Fords Hand into giving us a V-8 Bronco available in the Raptor. So for people wanting a real Engine we will be guided into the Raptor. Yes I am one of those people who want a V-8 or Diesel option. And Yes i am that person that will get it tuned, add headers...
Here in Vegas with the heat you won't need them with the doors and the top off and the swamp ass you have already... The wind blasting in will have you in a DiY swamp cooler.
Well hopefully the Raptor gets a V-8 or preferably the Diesel... If not I have a built 351 windsor I can put in it... Or attempt with enough lube and muscle to get a 7.3 powerstroke or 12v Cummins in it
I am buying the first edition because it should hold resale value so I can sell it when the Raptor hits and I can have a Bronco with the V-8 it deserves not a half ass v-6
