Glad someone is trying their own rendition!
Am I understanding correctly that youāre over $600 in supplies? I could see $300 if a person had no materials on hand, but your hardware store must be pretty spendy!
Iāve read they opened up eforms for a form 4, which is great news. Iāve had to wait about 12 months before, but the 18 you waited is nuts. When I efiled my last form 1, it was less than a month, so hopefully we see the same for form 4ās.
As far as the custom handgun, itāll be a 1911. š
I agree on the ridge of the hinge. I almost did not even use one as it fits in there quite snug anyway. Iām sure there is some type of hidden hinge that could be used as well, but I had the piano hinge from a prior project on my old Jeep I never used.
The whole shelf really doesnāt have to be...
Thanks. If I had more time and $, it would be fun to pursue that āstreamlinedā version. It would be a dream come true as I truly enjoy these types of things, but I better stick to building bridges.
Just so you know, you donāt have to worry about a dead battery. Thereās a button up by the...
Right. The nice thing about that other shelf is it looks so easy to just have accessible in your garage if the need arises for it.
I did just remove a front door, slip a cover on it, and try to fit it in the cargo area. No chance itāll fit upright when you start adding another floor. No big...
Exactly. I really thought hard about the Line X type of finish. Iāve had good results with the Raptor Liner DIY stuff. Itās held up great on my toolbox on my truck, but itās too cold to mess with it outside or in my garage for several months. If I ever convert the top and shelf to aluminum...
Someone will come out with a nicer and/or easily produced version soon enough. Not saying this isnāt easy, but itās a bit crude compared to what actual shops will come up with. The one Ford makes is pretty sweet, except I assume you lose that bit of valuable space behind the shelf when slid in...
Thank you. I really enjoy little projects like these. Itās part of the fun in having a vehicle like this. Put your own little touches on it and make it yours.
I agree with the other poster, not much room for a drawer under here with these massive slides. Maybe a bottom mount slide that could straddle each side of the storage if you want to keep that? Another 1-2ā in height would open up more options on a drawer.
I had a build date of 10-18. Engine date is 21214 with a sequence number very close to another engine that did fail.
What I find a bit interesting is my Bronco (and several others) was held at the plant for at least another month due to what they called QC issues. Iām hoping Ford was being...
Those sure look the same. I got the Vadania ones in the 24ā locking model.
Same China factory Iām sure

Great idea and something I want to add in the back in general. The factory lights in the Bronco are terrible.
They are quite a bit cheaper if you donāt want a set that locks. Iām assuming the $50 ones do not lock and that is what you prefer? I think non-lockers would be fine as well, I just...
