I'm in North Little Rock and see 3 or 4 around town regularly. We are complete noobs to offroading too. So far we've been exploring the trails around the Flatside Pinnacle area west of LR, and the Ozark/St. Francis forest area north of Russellville.
Hate that for you buddy. Hopefully Ford can help you clear it up. I've heard of several people having problems with Crain. Makes me thankful for McClarty playing fair.
Lead time really depends on your order/trim. Base Sasquatch might have a shot at that time window.
I know someone else who ordered through Riser and had a good experience. Hopefully you do too.
Our order was first day Badlands 2.7/Lux, built in July, spent a couple months at Dirt Mountain...
I've been having this problem too. I ran by Autozone yesterday and grabbed a couple 3/8" rubber end caps for the guide pins. Put them on last night and tested this morning. Zero clicking, popping, etc from the roof on a series of bumpy and unmaintained roads. I've popped the panels on and off...

I started noticing a popping above/behind the driver a couple weeks ago on our (Dirt Mountain) 4dr Badlands. Seemed to sync up with colder weather which makes to make sense. I'll check out the guide pin stuff this weekend!
Awesome congrats, you're going to love it! Ours is supposed be delivered 11/6-11/12, fingers crossed it comes in early, ha!
Yeah the 24hr loaner is a great idea, they have a 4dr Big Bend soft top, and a 2dr hardtop with sasquatch too.
We had a blast this weekend with a Bronco loaner from Mclarty Ford. Tooled around for a day in town, and then spent Sunday on the dirt out by Flatside Pinnacle. Really really really eased any concerns with the long wait. These are great vehicles and an absolute blast to ride on and off road.
Received my Built email today with a current estimate of delivery for 8/21-8/27, ha I guess the dates above were my original shipping dates until the truck got sent to Dirt Mountain...
Hopefully, I will get an updated Shipping email soon... hopefully...
