After more in depth discussions with King on my setup, we've landed on 300lb linear springs in the back as a best case scenario. I'm going to give that a try. They'll change them out at no cost if they're not right.
You're correct about the factory springs rates, it seems the King progressives...
You're partially correct, except, I have actual measurements of the factory springs and the squat the weight added as well as with the Kings. The added weight on the factory suspension only dropped the height 1/4" in the front and 1/2" in the rear. The King suspension dropped right around 3" in...
It actually didnt squat that bad at all until I put the Kings on. The factory springs supported the weight rather well.
This picture is before the Kings went on. Only 1/2" to 3/4" tops. Now its like 2 1/2"+
I spoke with King today. Apparently the SPR1003 spring are progressive 250 lb springs. Because of the "tinder" section of the top of the spring, it does sag more than usual. He recommended upgrading to a 400-450 lb linear spring for my specific application (SPR3-18-400) for the rear. They have a...
Recently purchased a set of King 2.5 performance coilovers (25001-392A front, 25001-393A rear) for my Bronco and was told by King that they would only be approx 1/2" taller than the factory SAS shocks. After installation the front has been lifted 3 1/4" and the rear not lifted at all. I'm pretty...
I misremembered which one i have 😂
I have the Broaddict one. IAG has one that's almost identical.

JCR makes their rear shelf and even a front winch bumper in aluminum. Broaddict tailgate table is aluminum. Trailrax roof racks are aluminum.
I think just about everyone makes a version of something to suit your needs in aluminum. Not too hard to find.
One of the first "mods" I did was getting Forscan. There are SO many things you can change about how your vehicle functions, you can make it just how you like it. From turning off the start/stop function, up AND down windows with the key fob, having your fogs stay on with high beam lights...
177 lbs, including the ladder.
Doesn't feel bad at all. Can't feel any difference in body roll, at least not more than with the roof rack/lights by itself.
Suspension suffered a little. 1/4" in front, 1/2" in back.
My daily commute of 80 miles went from an average of 18.6 to 18.2 mpg (AC...

This Ecoflow Delta 3, 1000 WH capacity (4 times the capacity of whats been suggested at only twice the cost) and close to your budget. It has an nice case for it (cost extra) and has a boost of 2,600 watts. Also 2 solar inputs. It's also expandable if you later decide...
The tent would have to come off. It'll fit with just the roof rack with about 5 inches to spare. To be honest it lives outside only coming into the garage for upgrades...until now 😂
Have a bit of time to wait for the new roof top tent, but curious how the added weight will affect the suspension.
Only one way to test that. Add the weight! 🤣
Lifting two 50 lb, two 25 lb, and two 15 lb dumbbells onto the roof really puts the weight im adding into perspective.
Dropped the...
