I currently have a 2010 Jk Rubicon with 4 speed auto (2.84:1 first gear). With 4.10:1 RP, 4:1 transfer case, and 35" tires... my crawl ratio was 45:1. I just regeared to 4.88:1 RP and it's now 55:1.
I did Slick Rock and Rubicon with 45:1 and had no real issues.
The 10 speed auto and 4.7 with...
My 2 cents... going from 35" to 37" with 4.7:1 and the 10 speed.... you wont notice much loss in power and you wont notice much fuel mileage improvements or decreases unless you're going a super heavy and wide tire.
I think if youre going with a 37x12.5r17 or similar and keep the tire weight in...
Ok ... my 2.5 cents. If you can fit 35" with the Sasquatch "kit" I would not hesitate to simply add 37" and remove those fender flares. A 2" puck/spacer lift will not give you more articulation. Adding 37" is simply for aesthetics ..... 1" more inch of ground clearance wont make a difference...
My current rig and daily driver is a 2010 2 door Rubicon with auto tranny, 2.5" lift and 35". Last summer I breezed thru the Rubicon... with a crawl ratio of 45:1. I'm regearing to 4.88 which gives me 55:1.
If the Sasquatch with auto (4.7 first gear) the 3:1 transfer case and 4.7:1 R&P gives...
Sir.... I'd rather have the front sway bar disconnect available with the Sasquatch package than the manual. The disconnect is far more useful.
Thank you.
