    DFW Bronco Club

I have my crew ready for the April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse.
  2. Cybertruck only $68,890!

I wouldn't buy a Cybertruck for the following reasons: 1. The warrantIes on the other Tesla vehicles can be voided if: a. You hit a pothole b. Vehicle is driven on a dirt road (The CT Warranty could be the same) 2. The CT's weight will cause the following: a. Tires to be...
  3. Running board vs hoop step for outer banks?

I replaced the running boards with Rocksliders. I really like them because the steps drop down and make it much easier to get in and out of my OBX. Its a great option if you or passengers are short, have knee problems, older, or other medical issues.
  4. My Bronco is totaled 💔 (confirmed by insurance)

The neat thing that I like about the Broncoes is that they are modular. If the frame isn't bent, you should be okay. I hope the person that hit you has enough insurance to cover the damage. Here in TX, I'm getting concerned with people not carrying any indurance and it is becoming a bigger...
  5. Introducing myself

Welcome aboard! I'm from SA also. If the Jacala was still open, that would be worth the trip to SA from DFW in my Bronco for the puffy tacos!🤪🤪🤪
  6. Taking large dogs on long trips?

If you have a hard top, let me suggest upgrading the window tint. I am looking at a couple of options and ceramic tinting is what I'm leaning towards to help keep the vehicle cooler inside.

    Outer Banks Club

I'm heading to north of Waco, TX. I got a solar filter which is great for seeing sunspots, but I want to see the solar flares with a hydrogen filter.

    Outer Banks Club

I live in an area where we are getting 100% coverage of the eclipse and I want to upgrade my 26 year old 10" reflector. I want to capture the diamond ring too, weather permitting.
  10. Looking for 2-4in lift, let me know what you used!

I have an OBX non-lifted 4dr 2.7L. My OBX is a daily driver, but no plans to do heavy/extreme offroading as our roads are crappy and can be challenging in themselves. I am leaning on Icon Stage 4 Billet for lifting. Between lifting, wheels, and tires the cost will be around $8K.
  11. Homelink Integrated in Sun Visor - DIY install & photos

I am so cheap that my ass squeaks! I bought some velcro squares at Lowe's and taped the opener to the dash board. It doesn't look bad for a $3.00 solution. BTW, Go Raiders! Class of '88

    Outer Banks Club

I'm in a quandary to lift my OBX or use money for other things like buying other things like a telescope for next year's solar eclipse. Both will be the same cost.
  13. Another Bad Hard Top That Ford Dealership Refuses to Fix

I noticed that defect on my OBX and I'm a bit pissed to say the least. I hope Ford looks at changing these tops out or give us a refund of some sort. I paid way too much.
  14. Best Ford Dealership To Purchase From?

    Now it's a 3 year wait!
  15. 2021 Badlands Sasquatch took a hit... totaled?

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you and your passengers are OK. Good Luck dealing with the insurance companies.
  16. Icon Stage 4 vs King Stage 2

Are these two options for SAS or non-SAS Broncos? I have 4 Dr OBX non- SAS and I'm seriously looking at the Icon 4 Billet.
  17. ***Update 4/19 Hail no... damage to MIC 2.0 hard top in large hail storm

I hate hail and I'm sorry to hear about everyone who got caught in hail or suffered hail damage. I bought a sealskin cover to protect my Bronco from hail. I wasn't impressed with it. There are better products out there that cost $1200 that places a bubble around the vehicle for protection...
