That does look pretty extreme of an angle. I wonder if maybe under pressure they react differently. Or it could just be like you said over time they wear out faster. Either way it is definitely the angle causing them to wear or break.
I am agreed with the droop statement. I've seen what happens when the axles get extended like that. I'm surprised they can even function at those angles.
That sounds like a good deal too. 1600 under invoice is a deal. I doubt you'll see much better unless Ford offers some type of incentive, which I cant see happening anytime soon.
Now that the battery is in....start the Bronco, let the engine run for a bit and then stop it. Then disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and then reconnect.
Are you offering the same deal for jeeps. I've been thinking about getting my 3 jeeps covered? thanks.
I got my Bronco covered through Granger as well. 8 years 100k miles. It is a bargain at these prices.
As complicated as they are making these things from electronics to the engines EV's may not be a bad way to go. Reading about 10k transmission repairs, turbo failures, etc. They have really overcomplicated engines in order to squeeze out a few extra miles per gallon. They need to just put 5.0s...
I think Granger still has the ford protect warranty for dirt cheap. I paid around 1650 to get the 8 year 100k warranty. I'd do that and then just sell at the end of 100k miles.

I have no clue if this really works.....
When a chevy bolt can almost keep up with my 2017 gt at 6000 feet, they do have something going for them. I've tried keeping up with teslas. From a dead stop I don't even have a chance.
Sold my mustang for the same reason. Hated swerving around potholes and was wondering when one finally going to take me out. Now I just fly right over them.
I'm not a big warranty guy, but the Ford ESP plan through Granger is the way to go. That is what I did. Read up....so many weird issues that have come up. Cam phasers, drivetrain parts....Just look inside the engine bay and you will realize that this isnt your dads car. It is so complicated now...
This is a good post. I love it when people compare a Bronco with the goodyear tires to a lifted Gladiator on 35" mud tires and talk about how good the ride is on the Bronco vs the jeep. I'm agreed those these goodyears ride really smoothly. They throw rocks, suck offroad, but for a general...
I think I agree. that is probably steeper than it looks in the video so even letting the clutch out would not have stopped it. OP had a split second to react and trying to restart had worked before so it seems logical to do it again.
Agreed on the tie rod comments. Broncos have a lower ground...
When they get out of school they arent worth much to the employers who have to spend 6 months to a year training them. It takes a good 3 to 4 years to start making good money. Even engineers with 25 plus years are at 140k....Given the stress and the liability that goes along with it, making 80k...
I'm all for everyone making more, but 40 bucks an hour for assembly line work? I guess we all need raises then. I know engineers with 4 year degrees that dont make that much. Why drop 120k on a degree at a state college with a student loan, waste 4 years, then graduate and make less when you can...
I had a rabbit living in my mustang for a week or two. I tried dryer sheets. That did not work. Pretty sure he nibbled on some wiring. AC went out at the same time. I got a hose and sprayed him with water to get him out. He was even coming with me to work 25 miles away.
