I was originally planning go to OBX, primarily because I wanted the B&O to be good enough to avoid aftermarket upgrades. Then, I looked more closely at Black Diamond and decided the approximately $7k lower price tag on my builds is more appealing.
OBX + Lux has too much I don't care about...
Hi @StephensAutoCenter !
My question likely falls into the 'too early to tell' category. Please keep us posted if you learn more about late availability details.
I prefer to order my Bronco with shadow black or body-colored hard top, and want to better understand what that means for ordering...
Hard to say with the bronco, but for a Wrangler, anything is an improvement. Not only for sound, but also temperature control. On hot days, the AC can't keep up, and the reverse for cold days.
Same concerns and complaints many of you voiced. I also revisited Jeep's website this morning. I'm giving my 2014 JKU to my son next year and was so looking forward to moving on. At this point, I'm resigned to waiting a bit to see if anything else shakes out. Like...what is "late...
Agree. The color reminds me of ugly Honda Element...never pretty and has aged even worse.
With regards to painting or wrapping... I am all for mods to personalize and add features, but not immediately painting a new vehicle costing well over 40k...
Before going with Stephens, I thought about attempting to negotiate locally....but then I dreaded the extended conversations that would entail and doubted I would get the commitment Stephens has offered. I wish a local dealer would step up with this type of offfer and transparency.
Agree!
I hope shadow black is offered on all models, but doesn't seem to be the case.
The grey top reminds me of the Honda Element, which haven't aged well, at least in that respect.
I have similar opinion on body color tops on Wranglers. They can look sharp when newer, but not over time...
I really want the better sound system from the factory. It is interesting...I signed up for OBX, but things like this have me convinced I will get a Black Diamond.
I've bought many cars in my life, but only 2 new ones. The first taught me a lesson about depreciation. The second was an almost...
Very similar to my color journey :-)
I was immediately drawn CG, but subsequent photos and viewings indicated that it didn't have the tone I wanted...more of a retro greenish gray.
How does it compare to the Jeep Anvil color? I wrote off Area 51 initially because I didn't want to get virtually the same color I've had on my Wrangler.
I kind of want cyber orange, but think I'm too old for it. This bronco seems pretty old too. Sorry if it's a repeat of a similar pic. Figured this group would still like it :-)
Some idle thoughts while I wait for build & price.... Interested in opinions on wrapping a new Bronco with vinyl film for protection.
I've been very happy with the clear film applied to my car bumper, hood, mirrors. No rock chips and the like.
I never did the same for my Wrangler and it's...
I spoke with the sales manager at University Ford in Durham, NC this morning.
He indicated no ADM.
X-plan is unknown at this time, but they likely to honor it, as they did for the Mach-E. He mentioned the structure of the X-plan may change for the Bronco, as it did with the Mach-E.
