The 2025 & 2026 don't come with wireless chargers, but there is a rectangular cutout under the spot where the phone holder is.
I assume you can pop in a wireless charger from previous models into it, but I havent tried.
I'm working on creating a 3D printed charger mount for this location so I...
I used this post, which has the factory alignment procedure.

It took some fiddling, but I basically loosened the hinge bolts that are behind the trim (not the ones behind the taillight), and pulled the door up as far...
So we actually got very lucky and our local dealer had an order in for exactly what we wanted, otherwise, you need to find a dealer that has what you want. There is no line jumping or anything.
4.5 months was from the date we lost it to when we got into the new vehicle. The new vehicle actually...
Id prefer not to go into specific numbers but essentially, for the replacement, it was MSRP to MSRP comparison (new vs. old), not ACV. For a buyback, it's what you paid for it. Mine was essentially new, so it may be different for an older car with more miles. Im sure some of this is a case by...
There still is depreciation and they don't cover mods (in our case, about $10k in wheels/tires/ppf/tune/etc), personal property, or loan interest. We also paid a very low price for our 2024 because we got it when they were all over $20k off. We wouldn't have been able to get into a new one for...
When this happened, I couldn't find anyone else with a raptor 3.0 that had an engine fire. I doubt I'm the first, but I couldn't find anything when I looked. I saw the other 2 you are referencing.
That's fair. And some of my friends thought I was crazy for getting another one too. But my thought process is: planes occasionally crash and we still all fly. I recognize this was a freak incident and the likelihood of it happening again to me is slim. Now if it does, then hell yeah I'm never...
We were driving and saw smoke behind us. We quickly pulled over and as soon as we did, heavy smoke started billowing out in front of the passenger seat engine bay area and we both jumped out immediately to get the dog, so it all happened very fast.
In terms of smell, I don't recall smelling gas...
This is something I plan on getting but I'll be honest, I wouldn't have had time to use it. We barely had enough time to pull over and get us and the dog out before it caught flames. I can't imagine (in our situation) me popping the hood and trying to put out the fire without risking getting...
Hey all. When this happened to me, I searched everywhere and couldn't find anyone who had gone through the exact same thing. Posting this so the next person has something to reference and hopefully help them out if they find themselves in a similar situation.
What happened
In November 2025...
I would note, if you are concerned and you still have a warranty, buy it direct from the Ford website when its 20% off and add in the installation from a dealer for $112. Its easy to do yourself, but for $112 it was worth the extra piece of mind because it's documented as installed by the dealer.
Finally wrapped this project up. Did things a little different for the cubby.
Also included some pics of how I ran the wire for the back seats.
Easiest approach for the rear wires is take the 4 seat bolts out and tip it back, then run the wires out the inboard front seat bolt area. When...
Haha do it!
I was holding out for a 2025 to get rear ac vents, but then the deals on the raptors started happening and I couldn't pass it up in my favorite color.
That honeycomb area was of a 2024 unit on ebay. Although, I think my initial assumption was wrong and that goes to the windshield defroster.
Without having one of these hvac units in front of me outside of the car, it's hard to make assumptions. Here are some images to help describe things...
For others that stumble across this, I had the same issue and after trying several things was able to fix it with a cheap USB hub dongle. It has to do with these devices being old/cheap hardware and not being able to handle a high device address assigned by the computer. A USB hub fixes this by...
Did the cupholder portion of this mod today. I was able to get it 100% factory looking IMO. Here are some closeups.
I trimmed all the tabs where the cupholder mates with the trim
I only trimmed 3 screw posts
I used a heat gun to flex the center of the new one outward
I tried all settings, including floor, and no dice. But from looking at images of the whole hvac system, I think that center section would connect into the front ducts or in the middle where that honeycomb is in post 115.
Bad news. Drilled a 1/4" hole here and ran the ac on max. Tried changing airflow, etc and no air came out of the hole.
So there must be an internal cap on that section somewhere, which makes this a much larger job than anticipated.
