UPDATE: Trans was rebuilt with D synchros, noise returned within three days. Scheduled an appointment with the dealer for evaluation, received an email confirmation yesterday that Ford has authorized a new trans to be installed and unit is scheduled to arrive today.
1. You should have informed the service writer upfront of your modification and proved it worked.
2. You should have confirmed it worked with the service writer when you picked up your vehicle.
Thanks for sharing. We travel full time in a 26’ motorhome flat towing our Bronco. We should exit Baja In April and will travel up thru CA and Oregon. I’m going to definitely add this to my “must do” list before going to Owyhee Wilderness in Oregon.
Mine is back at the dealer since Feb 1 after one rebuild the noise returned within three days. Driving a Bronco Sport loaner waiting to hear what the next plan is.
Notice the flush mount lights I installed on the roof platform. Rear lights are automatically activated when put into reverse. Rear lights and side lights can be activated with AUX switch.
It is my understanding with these type of shocks “bump stops” are installed to prevent damage from the larger tires equipped on the Wildtrack and Sasquatch package.
If so, you sacrifice “articulation”.

I can provide a download from GaiaGPS if you use it. It’s Spring Canyon Point overlooking the Green River in the Labyrinth Canyon Wilderness in Utah, unfortunately I believe I read that BLM may be closing this area to protect cultural sites. Check before you go as to the status.
