Have an OEM roof rack that I don't need as I'm going aftermarket. Has about 800 miles on it and thats from driving back to the house from the dealership when I purchased the Bronco a month ago. Has the specialty tool to install the side rails and all parts/bolts.
$650 Pick up only, located...
Nope, hope that doesn't happen again. Remember back in 2015 we picked up a JK for my wife, had it 2 days and had to replace the windshield. What happens when its basically straight up and down.
Yeah interior space was the biggest issue with the JL, two kids, dog and trips out of state made it not very comfy. Highway really wasn't bad, did have to had lower control arms off the Mopar 2" lift as the XR package with the stock control arms has terrible caster angle. After adding those...
Biggest thing is, you can get the Jeep for under invoice still, unlike the Bronco. When I purchased my JLUR XR last year, paid 7% under invoice. Still like my BD better just due to interior space and highway driving, but if not for that, I would still have the JL.
no the switch that disables the interior lights from coming on when you open the doors. With this activated the map lights won’t turn on but the rear courtesy light still does.
I unplugged mine and jumped it so no hood ajar messages as it always thinks it’s closed. I’d much rather it be plugged in with just the alarm disabled so it doesn’t randomly go off.
Love my Mabett light, only thing I don't like is the OEM plug doesn't fully lock into place and when disabling the door open switch (for lights to stay off) the Mabett light still comes on, anybody else have that happening?
So far, only have 1800 miles but besides the hood alarm (now jumped so don't go off anymore) it has been flawless. Hardtop hopefully will stay aligned and no future cracks!
As @0ne showed above, I took mine apart this weekend and jumped the OEM side of the harness. Purchased mine 2/17 (i think) and drove 13 hours home and no issues. Next day took it to the car wash to get all of the MI salt off and within 5 mins of parking in the driveway it went off for hood...
You have to take the full front end apart (grille, headlights, flares, lower trim piece and rad shroud) look up YouTube it’s very easy to do and takes at most 10 mins.
After that plug is accessible and I just used a small wire, soldered both ends and put them in the plug. Electrical taped both...
Like you mine started going off week 1 while sitting in the driveway. To avoid it going off in the middle of the night started parking in the garage. It’s not a daily sosits in the garage and for the last 2 weeks didn’t go off once. Took it out yesterday to drive shack and it went off within 5...
Searched the forums but didn't see anybody bring up if you're able to turn off the hood ajar alarm in forscan? Have had the alarm go off multiple times and instead of going to dealer to try and get a new latch and it happening again, seeing if it has an option in forscan to just disable it...
