  3. First trail recommendation in OC, CA?

Too bad, that route was a good run. Probably closed it around the water crossing I guess.
  4. First trail recommendation in OC, CA?

Not sure it's what you want for a first trail but run Coyote Canyon from Anza down into Borrego Springs. Did that run years ago and had a lot of fun.
  5. Do I NEED a freezer for overlanding?

Dry ice in a cooler can keep things frozen for days. Even in Death Valley using cheap coolers.
  6. HAIL NO

Those happened all too frequently when I lived in West Texas. There was a PDR shop on every street corner out there. Hope you get it fixed ok.
  7. Windrock TN 9.9.23 for 10 hrs

Love Windrock, used to ride there a lot. If you get a heavy rain even G1 can become a challenge. Try 51 to Panther Rock next time.

  11. Radical, Unexpected, Bronco, Land Rover & Land Cruiser Fighter, 2024 Santa Fe

We came really close to buying one last year. I agree about the features in the Palisade. Decided we didn't need a three row vehicle after all. We bought a Genesis G70 instead. Fantastic ride and power. Full of great tech as well. Picked up a Kona as a grocery getter as well.

  14. Death Valley Weekend Trip Log

Nice write up, thanks. This was my favorite time of year to visit Death Valley and I've camped at the hot springs a few times. The ride through the pass out of there can be a challenge. Glad you didn't take any body damage.
  15. Unbelievable car crash (NOT Bronco) ... due to loose wheel spacers?

Back in about 1986 a friend/co-worker was traveling to my house so we could car pool into L.A. for training. He arrived late and white as a ghost. Turns out a loose tire bounced across 3 lanes of freeway and over the hood of his car hit the center divider and back over the trunk. I would have...
  16. Incredible canyons and desert sunrises off-roading in Anza Borrego desert (Video)

Have you driven Coyote Canyon down from Anza? If not give it a try as it was a great run when I did it years ago.
  17. What do you see from your office window?

I was between the airport and Dryden south of 90 when I took that picture I think. The terrain there is hell on tires if you do take your Bronco.
  18. What do you see from your office window?

    That is near Sanderson
  19. What do you see from your office window?

Used to be views like this but I retired.
  20. Getting the most out of a Raptor Bronco in NC

Sounds like a perfect excuse to hit the dunes out of state. Michigan, Little Sahara in Oklahoma or head to the wide open spaces out west.
