  1. Recall 26S35: 2025-2026 Bronco 2.3L Engine Assembly Replacement [May 28, 2026]

Mulally reorgainzed Ford's financial war chest leading up to 2008 that gave Ford the deep capital well to turn around the struggling brand. Turns out this reorg came at the right time to give Ford the necessary buffer during the 2008 crisis. He got "lucky" in terms of political/pr leverage...
  2. Recall 26S35: 2025-2026 Bronco 2.3L Engine Assembly Replacement [May 28, 2026]

Two different eras. Mulally doesn't have to deal with the safety and emission regulations that Farley faces. Nor was the horsepower/efficiency competition nearly as nuts, in addition to an ever regulated labor force. 1700 improperly assembled engines is interesting......especially since...
  3. Bronco Off Grid Power Setup with Bluetti Charger 2 (w/ Bidirectional Charging)

Thought about running a DC-DC (alternator) charger, but some of these units can pull 600–800W while charging lithium batteries. At idle, that can be a significant continuous load on the alternator, especially when combined with other vehicle electrical loads. I’ll stick with slower charging...
  4. Body panel/tailgate alignment issue

That sucks, poor assembly QC from the factory. My experience on alignment: - Staring at the tailgate from the rear of the vehicle: The tail can be adjusted left/right...ie sliding to the driver side or sliding to the passenger side. The other axis of adjustment is depth....ie, how much of...
  5. Sasquatch Wheel and Tire Weights

Nice wheels. Anyone else running these? Do they rub with the extra poke?
  6. Two door LWB??

Be nice if the 2 door was 6" longer....so I can lie flat in the back without having to go diagonal
  7. Heading out to some heavier trails, wondering about tire compressors.

Currently use a 10lb C02 tank, but will be adding a dual ARB for winter time fill ups. C02 tank works best in warmer/summer weather.
  8. 2025 2.3L Ford Performance Tune

Can you swap between the stock tune and the FP tune easily? I need to able to run 87 in Baja.
  9. Clutch & Cylinder Failed at less than 900 miles. Dealer denied warranty claim

Agreed, probably wasn't in 4 low, or the crawler gear.....perhaps used the reverse gear in 4 high. Any type of yanking while off road with the 7MT needs to be in 4 low, crawler, and preferably from the rear tow point, not the front.
  10. Ceramic Coating…Would You Do it Again?

I had it done immediately after getting the Bronco. Promptly took it to Baja and had it pin striped. Most of the pin stripping was buffed out afterwards. I'll reapply every year, it was only $500 for just the painted surfaces on my 2 door. Wish I got PPF for the rocker panels though.
  11. Spare tire mount reinforcement kit now available from Ford Performance Parts

Lining up the tailgate and getting the residue off the emblem took the most time. Did one hinge at a time, never had to remove the tailgate completely. Used the spare for support as mentioned earlier in this thread.
  12. Turbo Oil Filter Screen

Still images, 16 minutes of "content".....it's the antithesis of the lockpicklawyer Youtube videos, succinct, to the point, and never pandering to the algorithm.
  13. PPF or Ford Trim Kit for rocker panels.

PPF for the rocker panels, not for pin stripes but rock chips kicked up by your tires.
  14. Starting over

Add PPF to the rocker panels, protect against rocks kicked up by the tires. So far the only thing I miss of the available options is keyless entry.
  15. Deer Trail, in Santa Clarita CA.

I went down that climb, blissfully ignorant, heart rate was pumping
  16. Bronco Hybrid Confirmed! by Ford CEO Jim Farley (4/2/26)

Toyota nerfed the crap out of the fuel tank for the Land Cruiser....which I think is slightly bigger than the 2 door Bronco. The range is fine for paved roads, but once you hit dirt, that's not the hybrid system you want. The pipe dream is to have Formula 1/Porsche 911 GTS style hybrid, by...
  17. What are people actually paying for their Bronco right now?

45k, new 2025 Base (2.3, manual) with one option (technically two if you count eruption green), 765..Sasquatch package
  18. 2025 2.3 oil filter change from pre-2025 (FL-2127 and FL-500S both fit)

Changed the oil at odometer 1275 with Motocraft Full Syn and filter on my 2025 2.3 MT. Then changed the oil based off of the IOLM. At 11% oil life left (7534 miles on the oil), oil was changed again with Motocraft Full Syn and Filter. 7500 included two long weekend off road trips, a few...
  19. 2025 2.3L Ford Performance Tune

You should check out the e85 tune thread if you want to save money but have the option to go WOT.
