Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I wanted to add some clarification. Our "jaws of life" extrication tools will cut through reinforced boron steel. Cold rolled stainless isn't a problem. Extrication will be very different with this type of vehicle construction, but it will be doable.
The size of the truck isn't even finalized yet (still a bunch of inner city whiny car drivers that can't wrap their heads or garages and a full size truck). I have seen a few innovative designs for lumber/ladder racks that look very doable.
Honestly, I've got one on order (about 100k back in line). I'm not buying it for the looks, but for the capabilities. I expect it to do everything my wife's upcoming Badlands will do off-road and on. This will be my first electric vehicle, and I'll be switching from an F-350.
I will probably run a BFG A/T pizza cutter on mine after the stock tires wear out. I run 235/85's on whatever vehicles I can, not sure how they will look on the bronco.
I'm looking to do pretty much the exact same thing, but I'm going non squatch badlands. With the upgrades I want, the price difference is miniscule between the BL and the BB at that point.
For me, the replacement cost, and the extra height getting in and out everyday, and just the general...
