    I believed mine to be built the week of 7/28. Exact day, I do not know - and unfortunately didn't take a pic of the label before replacement and this thread. Sorry. I will try to get the info for my replacement to contribute.

    Since I wasn't paying for it - I didn't ask. Sorry I can't help more. I got the feeling it was standard on a complete engine replacement, but maybe not.

    thats not my style my friend. Ford been good to me. In fact, that 2.7L engine been good to me in a prior vehicle. And the parts issue isn’t a Ford issue, it’s a global supply chain issue.

    Thanks. Ford CRC has been really helpful. When I said $35/day for 10 days wasn't going to cut it on the rental and asked for $65/day for 14 days they immediately approved. Given what I have learned here, I am definitely going to wait for a repair timeline before I go into any kind of buy-back...

    A poster here , Flip, pulled the engine build date from the VIN. Appears to be 7/28/21.

    I will tell you this, if its any consolation - aside from this problem - I LOVED driving mine. It was fantastic.
