It sounds like you need the keypad and have it programed to the truck. The code digits are on a sticker behind the panel below the steering wheel (that goes for all Broncos). I think that there is a thread here with pics of the location. I'll post a link if I find it
I did this and now I have 3. If one gets lost or damaged then I can program a new one. The dealers defiantly have a racket doing this because it is about 10 minutes work for or less for an experienced tech
I was not familiar with some of the trim queues. Is there a list of the design queues for each trim?
I thought that the black pony went well with my HPR and did not realize that it was an attribute of a wildtrak, Thanks for the info.
I like the archetype racing SLAP BPM it is small with only 3 mounting points, looks great, and is rock solid. Probably not for everyone but it fits my needs well
I checked the oil level when I checked under the hood right after the failure. The oil level was good. There was also no oil on the ground at that time. I did attempt to start the engine once after checking things out. The sound was horrible and when the tow driver arrived there was a small...
I hope that it is just bad luck I do not want others to have the same experience. I am also looking forward to getting it repaired. I will update what the issue is once I know.
2023 Bronco Wildtrak. I have owned 12 months this month with 12k miles. 2 hours from home on an 8 hour trip to see family for Christmas when a knocking noise starts but no feedback in steering wheel. Immediately pulled over and engine died. Cluster lit up like a Christmas tree (bad pun)...
I dropped my '23 off at the dealer today to have this same issue repaired. I have had it one year next week. Thanks for the pics that helped me verify what I thought the issue was.
Thank you for the information. I crawled under with a shop light and my phone. Nice fine line on the material above the seal where the fluid is flung off. I have an appointment next Wednesday at the dealer. I hope that the parts are available so I can drive it out of state for Christmas.
Is this the drive shaft that goes to the rear wheels? Is the fluid transmission fluid or engine oil? Sorry for the dumb questions. I have a 2.7 automatic that recently dropped 3 tiny drops and nothing since. What was your outcome? Thank you!
