Sold my fully optioned Badlands last July when I realized Ford was not going to keep their mod HT commitment. And the other aftermarket option was going to cost me $7K and that was if they would ever ship from AF.
I really liked the truck but the noise, even with a Bestop and a headliner was...
I sold my '22 Badlands back to the dealer for exactly what I paid for it ($2K under MSRP) in July. It had 13K miles on it and I left the $4K of upgrades on the truck. They turned it around and sold it the next day to a buyer in a different state.
Was fun to drive but was very glad to let it...
It looks really good. I think I'll pull the trigger. Was waiting on Advanced but that has become a total clown show. Yes, I am sure once they get their act together it will be a decent top, but they are overdrawn on customer goodwill at this point.
Yup, been riding all my life and phones in cars with people texting, playing games, everything but driving and paying attention stopped me from commuting on my motorcycle.
Very sorry about the damage to a brand new vehicle and hope you get it repaired to your satisfaction.
I too have been waiting for reviews before placing an order, but I do not think deliveries have started. On that point I am glad I decided to hold off funding the R&D by paying full price up front. I do hope the product is a success.
I installed my DD headliner under the Bestop Trektop and it made an immediate difference in the comfort and the sound level in my 4-door Badlands.
The top was not designed for the Bestop. The L-brackets at the rear are not compatible, however the DDP001 bracket looks like it will work in...
Two weeks ago the 10 speed in my BL's would not shift into R when cold. Every morning I need to fuss with it to get it to drop into R, but it only happens when it's cold. Aside from that I've had zero issues with this truck over the first year.
Time for a trip to dealer.
This should complete my recalls assuming the everything comes in threes is accurate. Child locks, spontaneous windshield ejection during a crash and now missing sensor stud. That should take care of the threes list.
It’s not just Ford and it’s not just ICs. There is a massive shift in the supply chain architecture and manufacturing locations taking place right now. The reset will take investment and time - a lot of time.
Mud and deep water are not my idea of fun at all. I know it is for others and I am sorry for those that have tried and killed their Broncos - or at least wounded them.
My daughter has the MGV in her Bronco. No durability complaints from her. She said it is hot to the touch so far during the summer months. The leather is much cooler to the touch in mine. Might want to start a new topic or hit the search for other answers.
XLT F150 plastic quality = cheap and will not age well.
I've owned a number of F trucks over the years and the quality used to be pretty good - not great, but much better than the plastics in the new vehicles. I've noticed the exact same thing on the new BMW motorcycles and that started...
