How will these joints hold up to mid/water? I live in the southeast and we have a lot of muddy trails. Obviously everything gets hosed off and the joints at the frame side can get greased but what about the uniball joint? I hate squeaky vehiclesā¦
Hey all, wondering if any of you with Toyo MTs are having any issues with the āright pullingā tendencies these tires are notorious for. The load range C 315/70/17 MTs are catching my eye. The right pull seems to affect solid axle trucks more than IFS rigs but just curious for real world feedback...
Broncoās inaugural Uwharrie trip was a success. I was curious to see how a bone stock (driveline wise) Sasquatch Badlands could handle the trails. Met up with @Mountains2Metal and another 6G owner (not sure his forum name) and my buddy in his Jeep Gladiator on 37s. First trail was Wolf Den to...
For anyone going this Saturday bring rain gear and some hiking shoes if you have them with good tread. The trails can be slick when it rainsā¦and theyāre forecasting a lot of it! Going to be a muddy mess.
A handheld GMRS radio is a bonus so we donāt get soaked trying to communicate with each...
Dickey Bell is more difficult than Dutch John for what itās worth. Daniel is the most difficult. Weather permitting I plan on getting the Bronco up Daniel. Want to see if it can do it bone stock.
Gonna be at the Outpost at 9:30 Saturday morning. Forecast doesnāt look great but oh well. Little...
Right on! Iāll stay tuned to follow the progress on the CJC Bronco. Watch all of their YouTube stuff already lol. Definitely intrigued by this kit and will most likely be the one I go with when the time comes. Also shopping Carli kits for my tow pig F250 š¤
10-4 all of that sounds good. I was asking because I have a Badlands with the factory sway bar disconnect. If I need to add sway bar drops thatās not a big deal I was just curious.
@Carli-Dan Will Carliās kit keep the adjustable compression clickers? Any bump stop limiters if youāre going to run 37s like some other kits on the market? Sway bar drop brackets?
Yeah I posted over there as well. Plan on doing the RTR run in June for sure! Gonna be a shakedown run with the Bronco on the 8th and Iām taking my 392 the 15-16th.
Hello everyone,
Figured Iād post up a Uwharrie roll call thread so members can chime in and make it easier to see who/when people will go to Uwharrie so they donāt have to wheel alone or want to wheel with fellow Bronco enthusiasts.
Iāll kick it off. Planning on heading there with the Bronco...
Anyone here planning on going to Uwharrie the first or second Saturdays in April (1st or 8th)? Itching to take the Bronco on its first trail run. Plan on running Dutch John, Dickey Bell and the backside of Daniel + the loop trails.
Mental security + I was tracking down a caster problem with the stock front axle/aftermarket driveshaft. Was having vines on the highway. The 1 tons gave me free spin hubs and the Tazer lets me kill AWD in the transfer case and have true 2HI. Nice and smooth on the highway now. But yes a V8 +...
File or grind that area of the skid down where itās rubbing, re-paint and re-install. Not a big deal. Looks like you just need to open up the opening more.
Same š¤£ My 8:50 alarm reminder saved me today. Putting in a car seat in the pitch black at night has been slightly annoying the past few weeks. These will be a very welcome addition!
As someone that runs 40s & KMC Beadlocks on a fully built 392 on 1 ton axlesā¦Iād strongly discourage them on a BRaptor. Stick to 38s or 39ā BFGs at most. 38ā Ridge Grapplers should be very close in size to 39ā KO2s under the vehicle. And Ridge Grapplers are a way better tire IMO. Theyāre load...
