That is a great tire. My only worry would be it may look a tad small with the amount of lift you will get with the portals and the Fox 2.5’s.
Re the brake bleeding, a lot of guys on here did there own install and made it work, I would check out this thread if you have t already for some great...
Sounds like you’re a man of good taste and style!!! lol…. That is awesome, hopefully you don’t have to wait too long, you’re going to love it, this set up is so capable and effortless. What tires and tire size are you planning on going with? I see your in SLT, where are you going to go for the...
@Lobo Off-Road When I go to the website to order it will allow me to add the raw aluminum for every pice, but when I select black powder coat or the mica armor it says “out of stock” on the crossmember piece. Will this be available to order soon?
This shop is known for working on Jeeps and usually only work on single front axle vehicles and this is why it was mentioned, as most of his subscribers are Jeep and SFA people.
For just portals (which comes with a lot) and tires you’re looking at about $26,000 if you have a shop install them. The beauty of the portal is, it runs on a fully stock suspension, but I would definitely beef up the steering rack.
Yeah, it’s pricy that’s for sure. I would suggest doing it in stages. I think the first thing to do is the stronger steering rack and tie rods in order to support going bigger. Then the portals and tires would be the second stage. The portals allow you to go with fully stock suspension, so make...
Have you looked at the American Adventure Lab MASS Spare Tire Platform? This is the one I have, it works great and I love it. It is customizable and has a lot of different carrying options. It’s a bit pricey, but it is very high quality...
Hell yeah I am, curbs and parking blocks at the mall better watch out!!!! LOL….. I for sure will be wheeling it as much as I can. Hoping to hit Moab, Sand Hallow, Rubicon, and many more trails this summer.
I took it wheeling last week on a very easy trail, and it was effortless. @popo_patty wants to meet up and do a trail and get some video of it. So hopefully very soon!
I hear ya, I’ve had my Bronco since Nov 21 and been driving it stock ever since just saving money and waiting for the right product, when I saw and researched portals I knew this was the way I wanted to go. I’m super happy with how it turned out and how it drives!
Quinn from 74 Weld is very vocal about running a +25 to +35 offset wheel if you’re going to do portals. So when I bought my wheels last year I made sure they would work with this set up.
Last week I got the 74 Weld portals installed along with some new Fox 2.5 performance elite’s and Icon billit upper control arms. I had an amazing experience with WFO Concepts in Auburn, CA. I wanted to share the walk around video they posted of my Bronco and my build.
