My Base build would very much appreciate this part.
  2. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

Yeah I have that too. I've left the front crash bars in because the rub isn't all that bad and for a small bit of extra safety, kept'em in place. It seems to be light under full lock and only reverse, so definitely something I can work around.

The point here is that you really don't need her to do that because you're self sufficient, congratulations. However, she's doing you a solid favor in eliminating interest and that is awesome. Use that money for something else. Put your pride aside and do the smart thing, take the family loan...
  4. Base Bronco Shawty Build Featuring 35’s by Hypebeast Dad

Bro sick ride! I think we may have similar taste in vehicles.
  5. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

I believe the ranger wheels are +55 offset as well. It they are you should be good on clearance. The speedo will be off because that is directly related to tire diameter.
  6. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

I'm taking it to silver lake sand dunes in a couple weeks, I'll let your know if there are any travel issues.
  7. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

So your saying I made it faster!!!!!! Hahaha! ..... This is really helpful thanks, I'll be sure to post-it this until I get it reprogrammed.
  8. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

Uhh its kinda hard to describe without pictures. So think about the swing arch of turning the wheel L&R. As you push the wheel outward that swing arch diameter increases, which is causing the interference.
  9. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

Ohh sweet! thanks for sharing this. I never thought to compare it up to SQ!

No lift and no level. Base but the wheels
  11. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

I really need to edit the main post for this. I have the 2.7 auto. With 30" tires the acceleration was amazing. I did loose a bit off the line, but it does not feel sluggish at all. I do think that if I go larger, I will regear it.
  12. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

I like having a winter set of tires so I'll keep the factory ones for the salty Michigan snow.
  13. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

I think that you could follow the same path I did and you'll be good. Just read up of offsets. I have 0 offset and factory is +55. So my wheels are effectivly 55mm pushed out beyond factory + a wider rim so add in a couple more. Pushing out the wheels can affect turning dynamics, which is why I...
  14. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

Uhhh Not really. Noticeable yes but not sluggish. I optioned the 2.7 so its torque kicks in really fast and it had plenty of power. Also the factory 30"s with the 2.7 was really really quick. If anything I'd say its really well balanced now. I think going above 33"s will need regearing.... if...
  15. Base Bronco on 33" KO2 tires & 17" Method 701 wheels

Ford used hubcentric wheels to center the wheel on the hub when tightening the lugs. Best case is to find wheels that have the same hub bore. If you can't, get some hub rings to re-correct the wheel centering. Its basically a plastic ring that fits inside the wheel hub bore. They are not...

They did offer to swap them. Being in Michigan, our winters are really harsh so i'll be using the take offs for winter tires.

I just got my wheels and tires mounted! Method Race Wheels 701's 17x8.5 0 offset with 285/70R17 BFG KO2's. A couple things to know if they haven't been said already. Hub rings for the wheels. The hub size was not near a common as I thought it was going to be. The Bronco axle hub is 93.1mm and...

Ohh man my driver mirror whistles really bad too. Had the dealer check it out and they fixed it for a short period of time but its back now. The part gap between the front and rear housing of the mirror isn't tight and as it opens up it whistles. This will likely be a common part failure.
