  1. Anyone relocated camera for winch mounting?

I installed the Fab Fours relocation bracket. It goes behind the Shutters on the driver side. I couldn’t make it work. No matter how I adjusted it it would glitch out and when this happens it disables cruise. Then you have to stop and recycle the ignition. This is a PITA on a trip as you have to...
  2. Steering slushy, slow to return to center

You knocked your Toe-In out of adjustment. This will result in the problem you have. If you have a Firestone locally, they offer lifetime alignments. Be aware some stores don't offer the lifetime so call around.
  3. Seeking input on this Offroad Scenario

Some people laugh at the GOAT Modes but there are many options that cannot be selected without using GOAT Modes. For example ECO - Gives you better gas milage, Early Shifts, Soft Throttle Response SPORT - Gives you aggressive throttle response, Late Shifts, aggressive steering response. SLIPPERY...
  4. Problems with K02s?

I always watch the balancing on a new set of tires. I bought a set of KO2s for my 2000 4Runner back in 04. One tire was taking a whole bunch of weight. I told the service writer hey I don't want that tire! He said why not? I said look at all those weights! He said we'll put it on the spare. I...
  5. BREAKING NEWS! UNITED BY BRONCO 2024

I just reserved a room, fully refundable, at Sand Hollow Resort. It's $170 a night but right there at the park. Registration doesnt open until mid-November so plenty of time to think about it. I already bought a dunes flag and the mount that goes on the front tiedown atop the front fender. If...
  6. A lil mud and DOWN IT GOES AGAIN!! FORD TALK TO ME!!!

How did it leave you stranded? I see the ABS light on, and the traction control is disabled. This shouldn't leave you stranded. Did the engine not start or did the transmission not engage? Curious minds want to know, thanks!
  7. Are most 2 doors manual transmission?

Yes, I have the Lux package and you are right about computer braking. I forgot about the 2.3 not having enough compression for engine braking, being too small. I used to have an FJ40 with 7-1 low gear and a 105-1 crawl ratio. In low-low it would go so slow that sometimes the tires would start...
  8. Are most 2 doors manual transmission?

I have a 2 Door Badlands with the auto. Like several others I drove stick shifts for many years and now it's time for an automatic. The beauty of the ten speed is it keeps your engine in its power curve all the time. While in cruise control it may shift from 10th to 8th or 7th cruising up a...
  9. Can you only get an aligment at a dealership?

You must call around and find a Firestone Dealer who is ignorant of the fact that Ford requires the Collision Avoidance System to be re-calibrated. If they know this, they will not offer or sell a lifetime alignment. FYI, along with the same lifetime subject, Discount Tire will sell you the...
  10. Anyone relocated camera for winch mounting?

There are bumpers that have the winch mounted low as to not interfere with the camera. As mentioned earlier if you move the camera the view will be screwed up and probably not able to be adjusted. I bought a Fab Fours bumper and you can barely see the top of the Warn winch in the camera view.
  11. Check engine light is on , Code P0C2C

If the case connector on the transmission is wet from ATF seeping through the plug it can cause this code. I would take it in since it's under warranty and have the dealer check it. There may also be a software update for this as well.
  12. Pre Collision Assistance

FYI : If you do get the Lux with the RADAR, it gets tricky if you are going to add a winch bumper. You will need to move the RADAR module and relocate it. I relocated my RADAR module and had a lot of trouble with the relocation bracket moving it behind the shutters. I ended up moving it again in...
  13. Check engine light is on , Code P0C2C

This DTC indicates the transmission fluid auxiliary pump frequency is between 125 and 175Hz but has an invalid duty cycle, or the frequency is outside of the 125-175Hz range. This can be caused by a loss of power to the transmission fluid auxiliary pump. Did you disable the Start/Stop feature...
  14. Update: Rear Axle Tube - 1200 Miles Warranty Covered

Call John Currie and get a professional opinion on this failure. We would all be interested in his reply.
  15. Post Your Custom Bronco Grille!

Here's my CHETOZ Grill. I had to do it to match my Nevada License plate. Chester Cheeto likes it. LOL
  16. Where does the blue wire in an aftermarket 7 pin harness tap into?

I fished both wires through the frame front to back. I should have added a couple of extra wires just in case for future use but I didn’t. Here’s the pictures
  17. New to off-roading, do I *need* a radio?

I have a Midland MTX-500 50W GMRS which I mounted inside my console so it's out of sight and I can keep the mike in the glovebox until needed. It has a stubby 5" antenna which is mounted next to my stock radio antenna which is also a stubby antenna. Also, I have 2 handheld Midland X-Talkers...
