Howdy!
I’ve been looking for a set of 2 door OEM rock rails for a while now. I see them posted from time to time but are either out of state and not willing to ship or I see them too late and have sold already.
If you have a set you would like to sell me and are local to Southern California...
I’m sure you’ll find a local buyer but if you don’t and would like to ship them I’ll pay you $200 plus shipping to SoCal. Just let me know, and good luck with the sale 👍
Call me superstitious but I’ve always given my vehicles names for good luck, just like you’ll probably never meet a sailor without a name for their boat. Vehicles have personalities, even souls if you will. We don’t call our dogs “dog” or “Doberman” right? My current stable consists of a Betty...
This is my nightmare since 90% of my off road trips are solo / with my copilot. Solo off roading is necessary when your friends aren’t into getting lost every weekend. This is just another reason I’ll be keeping the Bronco local and taking the 4Runner on the long distance explorations.
Sorry to...
Your situation sounds very similar to mine. I purchased a 22 Toyota 4Runner TRD off-road premium with kdss back in November when my Tacoma began to get a little long in the tooth and I realized I don’t really NEED a pickup. As an auto technician I’ve owned and worked on many Ford’s and Toyota’s...
I’ve been having the same issue with my lights coming on by themselves, I thought I was losing my mind. I was convinced my girlfriend or myself were accidentally hitting the switch with our knees exiting the Bronco. We both got in the habit of making sure the switch was either set to “auto” or...
I purchased my Bronco from their sister store in Fontana and they pulled the same thing. “No markup” but explained it was mandatory to purchase LoJack, VTP (Alarm), Etch and door edge guards if I wanted the Bronco I ordered. My girlfriend and I told them that is not how we ordered the vehicle so...
In theory a larger wheel / tire will always put more stress on suspension and steering components vs a smaller tire due to added unsprung weight, rotating mass, scrub radius, etc. but going from a 35” to a 37” would be pretty negligible I’d imagine as long as the wheel package you go with isn’t...
That is great news man, congrats and thanks for the quick update! Now I know if things get weird to talk to Jaymie!
My personal favorite is Lytle Creek as well, nothing too technical up there but the views and the fact not too many people go up there in the evening when I have time to go up...
Did you recently purchase your Bronco post ownership change? I’ve heard mixed reviews from sunrise after owner changes, pushing unwanted dealer add ons and what not so your post is refreshing to see. My Bronco should be there within the next couple days, I’m working with Miguel / Chris.
Thanks man! I actually noticed that after posting lol. I guess having an unused pipe instead of two different kits makes stocking / packaging easier. Or perhaps Ford managed to have the cats in the same exact spot for all Bronco’s regardless of doors / engines?
Forgive me if this question was asked already but I’m assuming the cat back for a 4door will not fit a 2door correct? That outlaw high clearance cat back is calling my name but I don’t see an option for a 2 door on your site. Thanks in advance for the clarification!
First gen Busa’s are going for 7ish on Craigslist. Slap a 1k turbo kit on one and you’ve got yourself a 300+ hp squid missile for under 10k. How much did that tuned S1K set you back?
Lol just Joshin’ ya man, nice stable you got there!!
Sorry everyone. This thread is already off topic anyway.
I currently have Bay Area Metal Fab’s front bumper, skid plates, rock sliders and behind the grill light bar mounts on my Tacoma. Their fit and finish is bar none and as their name suggests, is pure bad ass beef! I love the convenience of being able to jack my truck up directly from the skid...
