Yes, I had something similar with wires sticking up there so maybe that will help. Where I found it rubbing most against the panel was the top front of the speaker grill. That is where I sanded the panel down on the inside to make it fit better. I think I have a post about that further up...
Yes, good luck with the fitment of the panel. Mine still isn't perfect but only I know that. Basically those top two center plug connectors I don't think are fully seated, but it works.
About cutting the panel. I only did what the stealthbox instructions template indicated and I am feeling...

Not sure if I need to put this in the for sale forum yet or not but I do have a spare B&O subwoofer and amp combo that came out of my 2021 Badlands when I replaced them with a mObridge amp and Stealthbox. Curious if folks can use these to convert a standard audio system into something better...
@Rollo_in_Paris can vouch more for the knob as I got the mObridge K2 8.1.1 for the amp (which answers your other question) to replace my B&O factory amp (I have one for sale now...). The mObridge allows electronic tuning using a laptop. After getting a couple of tunes saved to my profile (which...
Just a shout out to @mObridge. After some phone/message tag, we were finally able to catch-up on a call Saturday morning where he helped me tune the amp/dsp. TBH, I wasn't sure it really needed a lot of tuning but compared to what it was like initially to what it is now, I was glady wrong...
Like @Stevoid said plus at that time i had a bunch of extra from a year ago that I never thought i would use again (I had initially bought a small box when replacing speakers last year). So while everything was out, why not spend the extra 10 mins and cover key areas as I knew it couldn't hurt...
Quick update on my distortion in my kick panel, in case anyone runs into this it was an easy and quick fix, my two favorite things.
As I stated a couple of day ago, I was fairly happy with the tune preloaded by mObridge. However, depending on the song, volume, etc. I was getting some...
Thanks for your advice. Can you send me a link to what you purchased to calibrate your system (since I too have mObridge I figured it will work for me as well). Also, I am curious if a local audio installer would be ok doing the tuning even is self installed. I am looking at the mObridge...
So I just drove around, really for the first time since installation, on freeway and city streets to put it through the paces. At first, I had a little bit of distortion/vibration either coming from the passenger kick panel or rear pods. However, I adjusted the fade from the center to the rear...
Hi, thanks for the clarification as that makes sense from what I have learned. I just assumed you had B&O since you had a sub. Anyway, yes mObridge actually had a tune already developed for the exact combination of speakers/sub I have and was nice enough to preload it. It also comes with a...
All, not sure I should post here or just make a new post to explain how my install went and some things I overcame to make it work. This thread seems to be a "share all" on the JL Audio Stealthbox and MoBridge combo, but I also know it has kind of been hijacked from the original OP, so if any...
Hi, thanks for your update. I just finished my Stealtbox install as well. Getting ready to fool around with tuning, etc. today. The rest of my setup is as follows:
Dash top speakers (left, right, center) and rear pods: JL Audio C1-400x speakers
Kick panels : JL Audio C1-650 - component...
Just got my Stealth Box a week ago from Creative Audio at www.creativeaudio.net But they might have had one left in stock. Most places i called didn't have any in stock so you have to wait for it to be built by the manufacture which I understand adds 3 weeks... Good luck.
Halfway done with mine... anyone starting this should take others advice and just be ready to remove the HVAC console to add speaker harness to stock radio. I will be honest, it was hard putting the harness in even with the HVAC module removed, but that was partly due to my tight garage which...
BTW, thanks for the tip on using Creative Audio. I wasn't able to find this anywhere, with even my local audio store saying it would be 2.5 weeks out. Called these guys and they had 2 left in stock so should get it by the weekend. Nice crew, kind of reminds me of Crutchfield. Have to keep...
Hi, I checked it out. Looks promising. However, I didn't see a pic of the plastic interior trim over the sub location. Have you put this back on and it fits okay? I know some have had trouble even with the Stealth Box.
Thanks we might be doing all this together soon but you are obviously ahead of me. I too installed the same speakers a year or so ago. Yes let me know how your fitment goes as I think that was the main problem I have heard when adding the Stealth with sound deadening. Makes it quite tight to...
