  1. Cummins 2.8l

i like the idea of peak torque down low. im ok with loosing some HP, yeah its a big loss unfortunately. having that Cummins "C" right next to the model badge on the fender. Having that Cummins rumble, More importantly having that Cummins reliability and fuel mileage. maybe i just cant get...
  2. Cummins 2.8l

Crate 2.8l 161 hp 310lb-ft yeah may not be the highest torque engine available. But low rpms?........ pair one of these with the crawler gear in the manual trans, 4.70' with the non squatch badlands........ would probably be the best crawling, most reliable option. Whew, cant wait to see one...
  3. Bucking the Sasquatch Fever

Now, squatching any other model other than the BL theres some advantages, shocks, larger front axle, locking front diff. Options that matter to me personally. 35's, tiny lift, larger fender flares aren't worth loosing the manual trans option for me.
  4. 2.7L w/ manual trans (is Ford listening?)

tell that to the diesel pickups that used to offer manuals. fact is, alot of people dont want a manual. the biggest most powerful engines were the only ones offered with manuals in the heavy duty pickup space...... youre right about all the other vehicle types though, offer them only with the...
  5. Bucking the Sasquatch Fever

not quite, the badlands is the squatch suspension without the lift. (Bilsteins only) If you get a BL Squatch you're only getting the lift, bigger fender flares and beadlocks wrapped with 35's. I dont know where the info has come from yet but there are rumors floating around here stating the...
  6. Bucking the Sasquatch Fever

exactly what i was thinking. Basic Badlands is the go to model. if you choose the badlands w/Squatch to get bigger tires, small lift and you loose the manual trans....... Every other option in the squatch pkg is standard on the badlands
  7. 2025 Bronco Pickup details from sources close to the project (by Automobile)

Might be a little far fetched because the current bronco has C-Pillars and no roll bar right behind the driver. Real large expensive cut and weld modifiations would be needed, maybe wont be to far fetched......
  8. 2025 Bronco Pickup details from sources close to the project (by Automobile)

2 door half cab bronco, dont change the wheel base drastically, The new 2d bronco is longer already. Dont extend the bed to make most of it hang behind the rear axle....... Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i bet if ford designers did this, have an option for stiffer rear springs to up the payload...
  9. 2025 Bronco Pickup details from sources close to the project (by Automobile)

this one looks good. just wish it had a lot shorter rear overhang. reminds me of the gladiator and the gladiator is the ugliest looking 4x4 ive ever seen. Cut that last 10-12" off the bed.
  10. 2025 Bronco Pickup details from sources close to the project (by Automobile)

THIS!!!!!!!!! but bronco styling.... they would sell hundred of thousands of them!!!!!!!!!!!! make the roof and upper portion of the rear cab removable......... if they didn't do the extended cab keep the bed interior dimensions 4 foot by 4 foot. Perfect. Dont need a 6' bed, if you did get a...

Im opposite, i always thought the half cab EB's were the best looking out of the bunch
  12. What the hell is going on here?

2 door half cab bronco would be a dream vehicle for me. makes me want to cancel my reservation in the hopes this will get released.
  13. What the hell is going on here?

  14. C

Also on the cowling where the mirrors are attached there are accessory bolt holes. good spot for CB or HF antenna mount. this is all assuming you dont want to mount those to a roof rack. im wondering where a good spot to be to mount tranceivers with remote heads. Cant really tell from pictures...
  15. C

in the interior pictures i have seen it appears there might be a nice spot to mount a small transceiver above the sun shade. larger radios you could probably just mount the control head up there or on the accessory rail on the dash. Also above the windshield there is a cap on the left and right...
  16. Turning radius of 2021 Bronco?

Found an article with info on the 96' bronco. wall to wall turning radius was 38.9 feet. The Bronco 2 states the turning "circle" was 9.8 feet. Maybe the inside diameter? Toms Bronco parts article says the EB had a turning radius of 34 feet Found a jeep article saying the 2 door wrangler...
  17. Turning radius of 2021 Bronco?

Unfortunately wont be available with the manual trans. I believe that turning feature was inspired by tractors with dual brake pedals. one pedal for the brake on the corresponding side. If you have driven one and held one brake pedal to the floor it would easily cut turning radius in half being...
  18. Turning radius of 2021 Bronco?

Yeah my 08 megacab is a damn yacht. Ive just accepted the use of 7 point turns and backing into every single parking space
  19. Turning radius of 2021 Bronco?

has anyone seen numbers on turning radius? I've always remembered the early bronco having a much tighter turning radius than any jeep wrangler ive ever driven. Mainly comparing a 2014 2 door wrangler to the 66 bronco. the 66' was always the easiest to get around in the hills and turn around on...
  20. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

BD: 2 door, sasquatch, cyber orange, just placed reservation. Im just so damned excited!!!!!! One of my dads good friends has a 1966 Early bronco at it was the best vehicle ever to drive in the hills. turns sharper and rides nicer than a wrangler. i hope the new bronco here will be alot more...
