2. To get max rock crawl you need to be in C gear and 4L. Rock crawl mode will automatically select 4L, and do other things to throttle and steering Iām guessing, but in terms of gearing thatās all itās doing (selecting 4L). You could use 4L in first gear Iām sure, itāll just be a little less...
Well said! I'm not an expert on gasoline, but my dad did work for Conoco for 20 years (retired in 2002), so I know more than most lol. I do wonder how much Top Tier helps a direct injection only motor though, since I would think very little fuel is making it to the tops of the valves anyway...
An Autoblog writer wrote this article about the glories of Cyber Orange metallic. There's something in here for both CO lovers and haters. For starters, the main photo shows a pic of a CO Sport in front of a bunch of school buses (it is way more similar than I imagined, which is a bit...
The less I know about this the better (true about a lot of things in life really). Bacislly Iāll just be patient and check my email particularly well on Thursdays to see if Ford emailed me. š
The standard taillights look to use a dual-filament incandescent bulb. Honestly they are exactly like my 2012 Frontier, which is kind of sad lol. But anyway, I did have to change one of those bulbs recently, and hopefully itās as easy on a Bronco as it was on the Frontier.
FWIW, for the E39...
There were no 2-doors touring in the San Diego region (I think it was just these two Broncos). Word is few/none of the two doors are on these bi-coastal (for now) road shows.
In San Diego they were only letting people sit in the Bronco with the auto. Once I did that, I asked if I could sit in the one with the manual and they said sure. Totally worth it, made my whole trip to see the Bronco. My point is, if they have a manual at your event but they are telling...
My $0.02 about the MGV after feeling it yesterday. It definitely doesn't feel like leather, and it doesn't feel like Ford LTD vinyl from the 70's. It just feels like something different. It's soft and nice and I dig it. Reminds me of the waterproof material on my Honda Element's seats...
The Our Bronco Life guy was the primary guy with the mic at the Kearny Mesa Ford event in San Diego yesterday. I was all "hey that's the OBL guy" in my head, sort of confused but then was all, "oh ok this makes more sense now how he got all that good Bronco content." Then I found this thread...
I was at the KM Ford event. They were ferrying everyone to sit in the OBX, but I am SO GLAD I asked for and was able to also sit in the BD.
My build has manual seats with manual transmission.
The OBX had power seats with auto. It was nice but I wasnāt sure how Iād feel in my Bronco.
The BD...
I think they're just referring (maybe half-jokingly) to the Ford Performance Lift being the same as the Sasquatch suspension, not that the Bronco in the video has Sas. That's how I read the post anyway.
I would tend to agree with you. Itās interesting though how this larger sample size shows the manual take rate actually increased over 1% (14.0-16.2) from the last post from Doug with this data. I bet the general public wonāt be this high though, like you said.
Same buddy! Happy to see it looks good dirty too, since I'll be living in WA when I get my sunny-colored Bronco. I expect to see it a lot in less-than-clean condition with gray skies.
Iāve seen the collar used in videos but have never driven one myself. I prefer the method used in VW/Audi and others where you push in/downward on the shifter to shift into reverse. Just looks better because there is no collar. But obviously the collar isnāt a dealbreaker for me lol.
Very cool document overall! I def sturdied every sentence.
Some info about the manual would be nice, especially the crawler gear, as itās a new feature. Like the fact it has synchros, which we only know from a KOH video.
Plus the use of the collar, like how you have to lift it to go to reverse...
@sanford did you happen to adjust the seat much? Specifically did you notice if the angle of the seat bottom cushion can be adjusted, as in the front of the seat bottom can move up/down separately from the rear of the seat bottom?
If not no big deal. Iāll get a Bronco either way just really...
