The on road behavior of IFS was a selling point. I fix cars for a living and have been largely soured on jeep/chrysler/fiat products. Constant front end issues on jeeps I work on, customers installing cheap front end parts that just don't work. The very cramped interior of wranglers. It's been a...
Round town going to and from work and the like I average around 12-13. Like to head to the mountains for hiking and the like and get around 22-23 if I'm on the hwy all day. '22 Big Bend, SAS, 2.7l. Similar range and economy as I was getting in my old Tacoma before this.
I knew of this issue before I ever took delivery so the first mod I ordered up were some weathertech mudflaps. Glad I optioned the step in my build too cause in that first week waiting for the flaps I heard a few rock strikes on the underside of the steps. Weathertech flaps installed in 30 min...
Fantastic! Got my bronco coated about a week after purchase. I got lucky and my rig was built and shipped without going to dirt mountain. It looked great day one, but the ceramic coating really made it shine! Again, fantastic I say!
Hey, I guessed the right hwy from the scant scenery in the pics! Damn though. Hopefully it can be revived! The bronco, not the deer. To hell with that rude beast!
As long as possible. I've had my current truck 8 years now. Recently sold my old Jetta, had that for 14 years and brought it across the country twice.
I'm expecting delivery of my Big Bed SAS 2dr between the 20th and 26th this month, so here's to a long and adventurous ride!
Look. I'll be moving from a 98 Taco 3.4L 5spd to a 2dr squarch with the 2.7 and auto...I spent an hour tooling around town in a dealer 4dr wildtrak with the 2.7. It scoots. Perfect? From my very limited experience, no. Does it scoot better than my 24yr old, 270k mile pickup? Yes. Perspective, folks.
Well, it's happened. As I was grumping about my day at work, I happened to check my phone to find I had an email from Ford. I'm scheduled for a week of July 25th build date! Excitement has been renewed! Bring it on!
