@Ilmguy1234 I saw that video, she was hitting mud holes running like 40mph lol! I am trying to do the opposite of that without getting made fun of for not giving it hell. Would like to keep it looking new for a while at least.
I'm not far from Uwharrie but I have never been. Any trails for beginners that you can go enjoy some scenery without tearing your shit up? I have to get it paid for before I can afford to fix stuff.
So the work is done, the end result is not what I started out doing but the sound is amazing. We ended up installing the following after trying the MEMPHIS MOJO's and a set of JL Audios...neither would fit without modification.
Memphis PRX60C 6.5" components
Kicker 4" 47ksc40 in the dash and...
I am thinking(hoping) if the doors will not fit on top of it I can stand the box up between the back of the rear seat and the first door bag...the way the rear seat leans back it should create a wedge gap large enough for the box to stand up in. I guess I can always sell it if it just isn't...
I think I may have found a solution. I have an appointment Saturday with my audio guy to make some upgrades. Here is what I have planned.
swapping factory speakers to Memphis MOJO Pro
My guy says he has a few options on 5 channel amps to run everything
This is what I am adding in the back...
We haven't had a warm enough day to take the doors off yet so wondering who has and can tell me about cargo room? I have a 4 door with on board storage bags. I plan to use them frequently and wondering if it leaves any room to add a small sub enclosure? Thinking of adding a single 10 or 12"...
Trying to avoid anything taking up cargo space but may not have an option. I cant imagine mounting to the tailgate could be a good option either. Are you pleased with the Kenwood? Is that a 10" or 12"
Not having any luck searching the forums but just wondering where everyone is mounting hideaway subs and amps. I have the leather interior with heated seats so there is no room under the front seats. I have noticed others using the Kicker 200.4 amp to run the smaller speakers and mounting...
Yeah I switched from a hard top Badlands to the soft top OBX to speed up the process. Wasn't sure it was the right decision but so far I couldn't be happier with it.
Following this as well. We have already talked about planning a trip next summer. My wife and I have lived in Thomasville NC our entire life and have never been to the Outer Banks.
I'm in Thomasville, been all over the area since I got mine 3 weeks ago. Still have not seen another around including Winston and Greensboro...it absolutely breaks necks.
@ogo mine is supposed to be built next week so hopefully no issues and I can wrap my deal up in October. I would set an appointment to meet with Bob. He seems to stay pretty busy. He also has an assistant Jessica.
@ogo they have been fine to deal with. Honestly other than changing my build once I haven't had to contact them much. Bob handles all the Bronco ordering. He did contact me before my email to let me know to expect one. MSRP is the price.
