  1. Pics of Area 51 Bronco Sport

nice pics! I dig the colour (though I would never get it), but am I the only one who can't stand those rims?
  2. Breaking news: January ordering, Summer delivery, Black First Edition interior, no manual Sasquatch & more

This works for me....i cancelled my reso last week....my plan was to get the bronco in 2-3 years...so by the time you folks get yours and they come up with refinements/updates I'll be all over it =)
  3. Bronco order date / bank now opening January? Per dealer

Same....I cancelled my reservation last Friday.
  4. Signature vs standard lights ?

LED tail lights will last longer and emits cleaner/crisper light, and consumes less power.
  5. Sasquatch Tires are actually 34s

Agreed except that we'd be paying for 36's not 34's
  6. Anyone Now on the Bronco Fence or Totally Off It Now that the B&P is Out?

I still want the Bronco....but now my mind and gut is telling myself, wait 3-5 years when they come out with a refresh with better options/features. I think they struck gold with the design, but like many others have said, interior looks a bit trash, especially when you're paying $50k+ on it...
  7. No manual with mid-package

Frankly, I'm not impressed with the options available (for what I want). I'm glad we finally got to see the B&P, because this definitely solidified my stance on waiting to see what they offer down the road instead of jumping the gun now just to say I have one of the first broncos in Toronto.
  8. Electric HUMMER EV vs. Bronco

I don't like EV's in general, but the new hummer looks pretty awesome. Having said that, I don't think it's even close to apples to apples to compare the bronco to the hummer. Secondly, just because we all want the bronco, doesn't mean we have to hate on the wranglers of the world, etc.
  9. Dealer saying only 50% of reservations will be filled in 2021

Honestly I really want the bronco, but the more time goes by, the more I contemplate in my head and the logical side of me says I should wait 2-3 years. It's a hefty price tag for a vehicle that I've never seen in person, nevermind driving one.
  10. Cutoff date for deposit refund?

Just wondering if there's a cutoff time to get your $100 refundable deposit back if you choose not to proceed with ordering?
  11. Who feels Ford should scrap all these packages and just let us order what we want?

Yes - for an enthusiast point of view, this would be awesome. But no chance any plant could do this AND deliver your vehicle within a reasonable time frame. Also, keep in mind that once the initial round(s) of pre-ordered Broncos are fulfilled, they will be producing them for dealers to sell...
  12. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

i'll be honest...the potential of getting the bronco with the 2.7 makes me want to wait a few years before buying one
  13. Does the 2.7L Ecoboost require premium gas?

I don't have concrete numbers to back my claims, so I'm not even going to try to quantify it haha. On a high level, most of my mechanic friends tells me to use higher octane if possible if you want your fuel system, engine, etc., to last, especially FI (turbo) engines as higher octane/cleaner...
  14. Does the 2.7L Ecoboost require premium gas?

i've been using premium (91 octane here in toronto) since day one for my Mustang Ecoboost 2.3. Premium gas has less contaminants so I tend to look at cleaner gas being better for the longevity of the car more so than for performance
  15. Spied: 2023 Warthog Bronco Riding on Raptor-Spec Fox Shocks and 35" Sasquatch Tires

I wonder if it's safe to assume that the Warthog will be offered only in 10 speed auto
  16. Report: Manual Sasquatch Bronco is Happening (? or ! ... now revised to !)

Not excited unless it's on my order sheet before I sign on the dotted line.
  17. Second Thoughts on Manual Transmission

I hear you, but I think most, if not everybody who still prefers driving manual (like myself) does so for the pure joy of rowing your own gears, and not because it's faster/efficient/cheaper. Nothing wrong with you feeling that it's "extra work", because that's your preference. =)
  18. Anyone else not heard anything from their selected dealer?

I live in Toronto (Mississauga, to be exact) and also haven't heard a peep from Whiteoak Lincoln & Ford. Frankly, I'm not sweating it since we're still what, 3-4 months out from actually being able to place an order.
