Pardon the veer off thread, somewhat.... chaosrob, did you remount the original General Grabber tires on new aftermarket wheels? and if so, any issues with the bead of those tires on the new wheels? Was about to go this route but have heard some differing opinions. Thanks in advance, FG

I've had a Gearshade for a couple winters here in Fla. and am looking for recommendations on a budget top to replace it? The rear straps/clips and front gaps are an issue. So, any Mabett or similar units been installed by anyone? Or , is Jtops the only other satisfactory/quality solution? Fire...

Thanks Baja. The drape over ones are a possibility and definitely budget friendly along with being quite temporary. It seems not many people make the more custom fitted ones in towel-like material, the closest may be the Carhatt cotton duck cloth ones.

Love the MGV in cool or mild temps, but when that Fla. sun beats on it it can be a bit roasty/toasty. Looking for temporary but somewhat aesthetically pleasing solution.... i.e. cotton or beach towel like material. The obvious throwing a beach towel over it or an old t-shirt don't count, lol!

Immaculate (less than 2k easy Florida miles) Ford Rock rails off a 4door BD. Local pickup or meet near Tampa. $400 obo. Obviously all hardware, clean as new.

Thanks kindly for the quick and detailed response. I don't really want remote start just the shock sensor /perimeter alarm upgrade. I'll order up the part, again but being old, arthritic and electrically inept may have to find some local wiz kid to plug it in

I bought this widget months ago thru Ford accessories and got the $50 install fee with it. Dealer said that was cheap but called later on saying they could not install due to my truck being a MT... the ole remote start reasoning. Now, you guys have easily (somewhat) installed and made this work...

Thanks, they're gorgeous and have a gorgeous price tag. Any link to someone who may be discounting them? 17s are on sale at Tire rack but I don't believe they have a Bronco fitment.
