Also a good point. I've had a 4-door sedan for the past 5 years now and I think i've had people in the back seats about 5 times. Didn't make the 4-door worth it off the bat for me. We'll be getting the wife a new Kia Soul before my Bronco (as soon as the model/color combo she wants is back in...
I originally said 2-door. But, the wife brought up a good point. This will be my daily driver and off-road toy. I'll have this thing long enough for us to have kids. 2-door and folding seats are not ideal for getting kids and their seats in and out of the back row. Those extra 2 doors are...
I've only seen one in the area I work (Long Beach area). 4-door Badlands. Tried to get the guy to stop so we could chat, and so I could drool over his car, and he wouldn't acknowledge me. Hopefully more start showing up.
Took a look at this demo last night just before the dealership closed. The 4-Door is nice and roomy inside. The build quality looked nice. The soft top was not impressive; looked like it wasn't stretched over the frame enough to make a tight fit, could just be the model I saw. Either way...
I had the same reality check when the build and price hit. I’m going to save the $ glue a while and wait for the warthog or raptor version to come out in a few years. By then I should be better set to pick one up.
It sucks, but we are making the right financial decision to wait.
My thoughts on reliability aren’t really my biggest issue. I’m sure the Bronco will be fine with all of the heavy testing they are doing. That said, it’s a very very small sample test group. Real testing doesn’t happen until the car hits the hills with Joe Shmoe behind the wheel. The testers...
I’ve always been told not to buy the first year, or last year, or any production vehicle. “Got to let them work out the bugs”. I know that this is an old saying and most new cars are fairly good to go off the line first year. But why not give it a year or two to let them sort out any other...
This was the wife and I grilling at a yellow post campsite a few weeks back.
And this was me cooking at work for everyone.

And I HAD to check out what full flame meant on this rig.
My $.02: (based on my current Suburban overland rig I'm running).
I would go with the base 4-door and upgrade everything as I go/need. Being an overland rig, I'm not looking at running off-road races, I'm not driving over rough terrain at full bore or anything crazy like that. I am strictly...
I don't plan on giving anything up per se. The wife will probably get my current daily driver, my Hyundai Elantra, as its newer and nicer than what she has. And the Bronco will become my daily.
Auxbeam is what I currently have all over my Suburban. They have worked flawlessly and are cheaper than most of the competition. I will probably go with the same stuff unless Ford can offer something better at a competitive price.
I do like installing these kinds of things myself. I find...
Sorry bud, it wasn't my poll. I just remember taking part in it and quickly grabbed the link. Maybe a new pole regarding more specific ages? Guess I should go create one. Single digit pole or 5-year brackets (20-25 years old, 25-30 years old, etc.)? The thread i linked did roughly...

FYI, this thread covered a similar topic. It tracked age brackets with transmission options. Gen Y and Gen X made up 80% of those who responded to the poll.

I appreciate the new list by reservation numbers. I looked at the tracking list a while back and couldn’t find any correlations.
After looking at this list, I still find no correlation. As others have noted, there are Reservation dates That are mixed up and don’t run in order, location and...
