  1. Bronco Flag is in next package from Ten10

Surprised to get a flag today too. Nice flag. Also got the hammock. Bought a 4Runner TRD Pro last February, but I guess I am still in Ford's database. I might very well have been a Bronco owner were it not for Ford's delays. Pretty happy with the 4Runner though. Dependable capable dinosaur.
  2. What Bronco swag gifts has your dealer sent you?

Got home to find a small Bronco box on my doorstep. Turns out it is a very lightweight hammock, which is the most useful piece of free swag I have ever received. Only downside is months ago I cancelled my Bronco order and got a 4Runner. Never did get my $100 deposit back so I guess this helps...
  3. Any Bronco sightings, viewings, Dealer Displays coming up in Washington?

Saw a brand new 4dr Area 51 color in Edmonds, WA today. Had all the roofs off and full of people. Looked pretty good. Looked like it had the Sasquatch package too. Not sure if the roofs were off or if it was cloth roof opened all the way.
  4. Big Bend 2.7L EcoBoost vs 4Runner TRD Off-Road (Keeping Long Term)

Last winter I bailed on the Bronco and got a new 4Runner TRD Pro for MSRP. Now with the Broncos finally coming out, I am intrigued, but happy I got the 4Runner. Which is best for you depends on which is the best fit for what you do. I just saw that the 2.7liter Bronco gets similar gas mileage...
  5. Toyota Trailhunter

Oh no! I just bought a 4Runner TRD Pro;) Should be interesting, but if the Trailhnter is a revised FJ then I will not be tempted because so far the 4Runner is ticking all the boxes for me in actual use. Great to have some competition though.
  6. D-DAY is March 19th is FRIDAY. Who Else is Procrastinating?

Maybe. Guess we will find out. I have a TRD Pro and the suspension and tires are pretty plush on the road. The moonroof is nice too. Mine has adaptive cruise control which is great for those long highway trips. I have done the same route in two days in a Porsche 911 and the ride is a lot...
  7. D-DAY is March 19th is FRIDAY. Who Else is Procrastinating?

I got an interesting email from Ford. Along the lines of please convert your order by the March deadline to secure your May delivery. They did not specify which year though:) If May 2021 then that is surprising. A moot point since I already bought a 4Runner TRD Pro, but still got my interest...
  8. Why is the Toyota 4runner "behind?"

I just bought a 2021 4Runner TRD Pro. I doubt I will do any rock crawling so don't need quite the ability that the Bronco and Jeep have. I gave up on the Bronco after I realized my order would probably take a year and cost about 10K more than the TRD Pro. The 4Runner has a 500lb tongue weight...
  9. I cancelled my reservation master thread

One last followup. Cancelled my Bronco reservation awhile back. Since then I traded in my Subaru Crosstrek for a 4Runner TRD Pro. Works for me. Got a good trade on the Crosstrek and paid MSRP for the TRD Pro. The Pro often gets marked up. The Pro is a good fit for my wife and I. Moonroof...
  10. I cancelled my reservation master thread

Count me in as out:) Tempted by the Jeep 4xe, but went old school and have a deposit down on an incoming 4Runner TRD Pro. A better fit for me as mostly I am going to be hauling bicycles or a motorcycle on a hitch rack. So not having that spare tire in the back makes things much easier. Also...
  11. How/When Did You Hear of the 2021 Bronco?

I did not hear about the new Bronco until right before reservations opened. Yeah I'm a total Bronco slacker....
  12. I cancelled my reservation master thread

I am on the fence and if a dealer made me a decent offer for a 4Runner TRD Pro or a Wrangler Rubicon 4xe then I would probably buy one. Nobody has, so for now it is still a Bronco, but I'm pretty sure I will be MY22.
  13. This is a serious topic... seriously!

You can buy some Bronco Mud on Amazon and throw some on your Bronco from time to time:) OK they don't sell that yet. Maybe after people start receiving their Broncos.....
  14. What will this Bronco be for you?

Going to be using mine to haul bicycles and motorcycles to off road areas. Also driving to remote trailheads, or driving on backcountry mountain or desert roads for fun. Will be my daily driver too.
  15. What's your distraction for the next year?

Good point! I certainly have confidence that Porsche will make a good quality harness and make the right one. One thing I have noticed with the 911 is that you get what you pay for. It's not a cool looking car with just sport cosmetics. It's the real deal with a high level of engineering...
  16. What's your distraction for the next year?

Looks like your plate is pretty full with exciting things! Enjoy!
  17. What's your distraction for the next year?

The cars are fantastic. I think the delay is due to the pandemic and also the fact that body wiring harnesses are almost never a replacement part. So by all means get a GT3 but just fill your garage with rodent deterrents!!!!
  18. What's your distraction for the next year?

For the last year or so I have been riding electric mountain bikes which are so much fun. Pricey for a good one but worth it IMO. So I will keep doing that and still do an occasional ride on my Husqvarna FE501s dual sport bike. Also I keep myself entertained shopping for alternatives to the...
  19. 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4XE

Been messing around with the 4xe this morning and despite the hybrid engine I can't get past the rest of the Jeep design. I like the Bronco so much better. Upside of the hybrid is nice power and torque when both systems are working 100%. You have the option of using both, or each alone, but...
