I fall somewhere in between extremes. I have typically changed my transmissions at 50-60K and diffs, x-fer case brake fluid, power steering etc.. at 80-110K. Since I use the Bronco off Road and in wet environments more than past vehicles, I am moving everything up. Transmission and transfer...
Here is a cool write up with pictures on some diff and transfer case service. For those of us with some miles and use in "wet" environments, this could be good timing!

I missed that detail. We consistently wheel with a group (Michigan Bronco Club) and one of my regular trail partners did the same. I have to say, I really like the narrower profile in many situations. I think people underestimate how different section width performs differently and many times...
I followed a similar path, but used some take off Good Years from a friends SQ and no level kit (yet). What did you use for wheel spacers? I ended up using some 1.5” spacers and so far (8k miles) no issues. I was hesitant about the poke with the factory flares, but the 315/70/17 just go a bit...
I have seen my voltage readings elevated for the past few months. I checked it with a meter and OBD2 scanner and found the gauge reads about .5v high. I still think the battery is failing, as it’s a similar condition where the voltage runs consistently high, regardless of time to charge. It’s...
They look great. I replaced my stock 285/70/17 KO2s with factory 315/70/17 and they are good tires IMO. They wear pretty fast and throw rocks a bit more then the KO2s, but they grip well and handle fine for the size and tread design. Enjoy!
Well, that’s a good question. We don’t have anything to do with the catering, but we have passed along feedback from the event last year. Hopefully a few more vendors get involved.
There are a few posts on this forum about it, there are several brackets that make up the assembly, just make sure the seller has it all together (need to reference the pars diagram or on of those older posts to get the details.
Just FYI, we have the old (and new again) better forum software up and running. Jake F got a new server and is able to run the more advanced software. Hopefully we get people back in and using it for MIBC related content! https://forums.michiganbroncos.club/latest
Just a reminder- get your registration in for Bronco the Mac. We talked to St. Ignace Friday and we are already ahead of last years registration numbers. There will be the bridge crossing, trail rides, scavenger hunts and the Saturday evening Bronco parade with fireworks added this year. We...
I want to welcome the 2024 Michigan Bronco Club Leadership Team! We have almost half of the group from the West side of MI, so that will help continue to spread events across the state. As a reminder, the club is a registered non-profit, 100% volunteer group. We are all members, volunteering to...
You will be happy with the SQ package and 4A. The penalty mileage wise is surprisingly minor. I read a lot of the comments and don’t agree with most about 4H vs 4A, there is a significant difference between a mechanically locked center differential and an system that can differentiate and...
What Velocity Bronco said + we will likely schedule the same DI trip we have done the last two years in September. We are also looking at a winter trip too (they have opened up a winter route for 72”ORVs) if we can make the timing work with snow. It’s tricky, because just a little too much, is...
We try and get information out here and on the club website/forums. I am not a Facebook fan either, but it’s where people go and are comfortable (no idea why). We don’t even try to keep an email list anymore, 20% of people think that’s a security risk or something else sinister I guess. IMO...
