Just seems unnecessary. Give folks a V8 option in the Badlands & Wildtrak models and call it a day. Call it a Sassy-quatch or whatever you want. Clearly I'm not in marketing/advertising.
I really hope that full-digital tachometer is carried over to the regular Broncos for '23. Really hope that vinyl dash and the upgraded seats also come to the Bronco.
At this point I don't think anyone should make excuses on behalf of Ford in relation to Covid and supply-chain issues impacting overall quality. I could "maybe" see vehicles that were delivered the first months but after that I don't think Ford should be getting such a long grace period from...
It sounds crazy but the markup is all relative to how much you have. Crazy to most of us but to the people purchasing these it's probably like the difference between gas being $4.05/gallon compared to $4.049999.
That instrument panel is about the only thing (outside of the rear floor vents) that I truly dislike about the interior and the overall truck for that matter. Either go full analog (with maybe a small digital screen in the middle) or go full digital. Really curious if they wanted to go full...
I assume the answer is "no" but I wonder if there's a route for getting compensation from the shipping company. With this being a FE there may be a case to make around this being a collector's item?
@adampdx Wow- only 20/month? Hopefully the supply chain improves and you can get it earlier. I got 99'd to MY23 which probably puts me around Jan '24 at this rate. Hope you get yours sooner!
I agree for the most part. If Ford can implement a hybrid version of the Bronco by '23 I think that will put it over the top for me and others that are wanting to be a bit more gas/environment-conscious.
Jeep had an event today and announced the two-row variant of their updated Grand Cherokee. I've got my eye on the hybrid version (57 mpg) of the Trailhawk. I'm a day two reservation holder but due to my options I got 99'd to the '23 MY. I still plan on keeping my reservation but the Trailhawk...
Only thing I can see him justifying this is that he'll use the Bronco to substantially build up his YouTube channel, which will cover the unforeseen markup.
Just a theory (and probably wrong) but I could see many, if not most, manufacturers cut their production of MY '21 vehicles short so that they can save the chips for MY '22.
I reserved on day two and was psyched to get my first off-road vehicle. I absolutely wanted the painted MOD top and was bummed at first about it moving to '22. Then I received the dreaded notice that MOD tops would be moved to '23 and was fairly numb at that point due to all of the production...
Ford should reach out to Dominos and license their "Domino's Tracker."
Month 1: Your Bronco is being prepared
Month 2: Your Bronco is in the oven
Month 3: You ordered a Bronco? News to us.
In all seriousness, someone posted a stat the other day here that said something like 70% of Bronco...
I do enjoy his videos but I wish he'd add a scoring system based on comparative vehicles as well as the overall automotive industry. Example is the acceleration- it scores a one (1) b/c the acceleration isn't great when you compare it to a Tesla Model S. But if you were to score it compared to...
On Damerow's (Beaverton) website, they're showing a 2.7 Badlands. I have a reservation with them but haven't called or gone in yet to try and drive it.
