  1. Same same but different… Rivian R1S

I was seriously considering the R1T but cancelled my preorder. Couldn’t get over the remote area battery recharge jitters. I’m just not convinced yet and the $83k my build came in at was too much to gamble on. I really grew to like the look, not love, but like the uniqueness of the front end...
  2. 4-Door Too Small?

I ended up buying a Raptor. Go figure…
  3. 4-Door Too Small?

You could always go this route.
  4. 4-Door Too Small?

Just as long as that isn’t the excuse your wife gave you. ?

Hahaha @rynomar you do know what causes that, right?

The amount of stuff you want or need to take is subjective.
  9. 4-Door Too Small?

That wouldn’t solve me wanting to stay in the back country when I get there though. Can’t take an RV off the beaten path to get away from traditional campgrounds, RV parks and general crowded outdoor areas.
  10. 4-Door Too Small?

Crazy, right? Now you see my dilemma with a family of 5 plus a dog.
  11. 4-Door Too Small?

Both those trailers are under the max tow specs for the Bronco. One is WAY under, the other is like 500-1000lbs under. Actually, both the BS and the Bronco are small SUVs and deserve their compact ratings.
  12. 4-Door Too Small?

Exactly. And that would be a loaded Bronco and a loaded Taxa trailer.
  13. 4-Door Too Small?

I agree 100%. They are aiming to compete with Lincoln and Cadillac and not much else. Feels like Jeep was very narrow minded when they built the Wagoneer for that tiny demographic. I’m sure it will be luxurious beyond belief, have good Hemi power, and be the most capable 7/8 seater on the...
  14. 4-Door Too Small?

My girls (twins) are still 4 years from driving so I don’t want to sit on owning a 4Runner and Bronco in hopes of someday giving them the Runner. If they turned next year, that would be a good solution as they would love to be the second vehicle in our camping caravan for trips. The Wagoneer is...
  15. Independent Suspension vs. Solid Axle Suspension :) (GIF Examples)

Both of those trucks have a solid rear axle. Difference is suspension design and tuning specifically for speed, among a great deal of other differences. That Cherokee is probably worth maybe $20-$50k, generously. Trophy trucks can cost anywhere from $200k to $1,000,000. This gif shows nothing as...
  16. 4-Door Too Small?

A couple notes after watching the TFL video: 1. Andre doesn't know how to drive off road. He takes terrible lines and uses way too much skinny pedal. 2. He had it in 2nd gear low. Should have been in 1st for that last obstacle. 3. Those tires suck for actual off road use. An aggressive AT or...
  17. 4-Door Too Small?

That dude put a lot of work into that rig. Looked pretty capable to me. Thanks for sharing.
  18. 4-Door Too Small?

Sounds like fun to me. ??
  19. 4-Door Too Small?

I'll have to check that out. Thanks.
  20. 4-Door Too Small?

Really? Have a link to show the difference? Everything I’ve seen said otherwise. Or so I thought.
