Okay here's the finished product. I have a 2000 w inverter mounted in the back. 2/0 Cable's going to the battery. I have a 250 amp breaker and a 500 amp relay attached to an accessory switch. I can easily get a 1,000 Watts out of the inverter without stressing the alternator. Around 1200 watts...
Thanks! The idea of mounting it up front is something I didn't think about that, and I like it. I do have a line running to the back for my Morrflate pump. I was planning on replacing that with a 4 gauge line and sharing it (with a switch) to power the airpump or the inverter. I think it all...
It's more of a challenge than anything. I'm going to burn about half my battery just making some spaghetti. Between boiling water and cooking up the meat and sauce it took about 30 minutes at 1800 watts. So the idea of taking a little drive and recharging is kind of cool and avoids having to...
Fair points and exactly what I'm concerned with as well. To get 600 watts with a constant 15 amps, you would need 40 volts. Have you found a safe solution that gets you that 12 to 40 up conversion?
I have a Ecoflow Delta 2 max which is a 2.4KW invertor. If I plug into an AC outlet, I can suck up as much as 1800 watts at a time and charge it in no time. The DC to DC converters can't get me that wattage so I'm looking at the more inefficient but practical DC to AC (plug into battery)...
Going back to this. My ecoflow delta 2 max power station can take in 1800 W. There are DC to AC inverters that can get me there. However, a DC to DC, I don't see producing that amount.
A few things I did for my bumper. Relocated the winch solenoid. Relocated the camera to the front. Added a Yankum grroved Fairlead. Added a license plate mount to the front. relocated scensors.
Brad, there is no issue with the brake light mount location. It doesn't pick up the tire as I show in the photo. It takes 10 seconds to test this as all you need is USBC power. Also, there is no issue ACC as this is a different unit than the mirror. I do have the bracket. You should be good to...
The antiglare film for me does actually work pretty good. But I sure wish the mirror screen presented a finer resolution. I also have to turn up the brightness all the way. I see from the wolf box community Facebook page that this is common.
I see your point and you're not wrong. I don't buy most extended warranties. But even if I could self-insure my health insurance, I would still buy health insurance because I think it's a better investment and I'll save money.
