So they are going to allow built 2 doors to sit for an unknown amount of time until they get the hard top thing figured out? Can you imagine getting a call in July of 2022 telling you to come pick up your brand new 2021 Bronco it is finally ready for delivery.
I can't figure out what's more comical, Ford with their weekly kick in the nuts due to their incompetence, or us watching this crap and still expecting a high quality product.
Did you notice they also increased the base 4dr starting price as well. My 4dr base sasquatch is now $4k more than it was two days ago. Thats a 10% increase in price overnight.
THIS is my concern. Do I still want to give my money to this project? I have serious questions about the quality issues that may arise now that we have seen how Ford is handling their business with the Bronco.
The 8 speed tranny in the JLs is supposedly the best tranny on the market right now. it is made by a german company and is used by several different manufacturers including porsche.
How silly of us to expect professionalism from a 100 year old company that sits on the Fortune 500 list, has made this its business, and is known as one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world.
So the price on the base 4dr has increased by about $1500 and the price for sasquatch has increased on the base by about $2300. So, now the price difference between a 2 door base and a 4 door base is over $6,000. Whats up with the weekly bad news that ford seems to have. I wonder what next week...
I want a Bronco base 4dr sasquatch with the 2.7. I am a July 14 reservation (day 2). The whole allocation talk has me concerned. I would hate to be number 41 with a dealer with an allocation of 40. I need a vehicle sooner rather than later. If delays keep coming, I have been looking at JL...
I am in the same boat. I sold my truck a couple of weeks ago because someone offered me a lot more money than I paid for it last year. Now my wife and I are sharing one car hoping we can hold out until the bronco comes out. I have an early reservation (July 14). I can wait until summer, but...
Ford seems to be getting a little more and more sketchy as this goes on. This whole allocation thing should have been disclosed a long time ago. Everyday I wonder what Ford will pull today.
