Was just told that this is a one of color. My installer has a “vinyl printer“ and tried several different shades of white until he was satisfied. He has my color on file so he can “reprint“ assuming yours is also Oxford White. He charges $275. You’d have to find an local installer obviously...
It was actually my first question when I got it back. The installer thought that the exposed black trim would break up the solid white. I actually think it was a great idea. Taking into consideration the black door handles, mirror caps, window tint and MIC.
The hardest part was matching the white. I thought Oxford White would be the easiest. I was wrong. Lots of different shades. My installer had to try different whites to see which looked the best. He did not charge me since mine was the guinea pig and it took him a while to get it right.

The insulation tubing on the lightbars are thick. Think outdoor extension cord thick. That was causing an air leak when sandwiched between the weather stripping and hardtop. Hence the reason Ford Performance changed the instruction to strip the insulation tubing away.

Not this time. On my Wildtrak, I followed the Ford Performance instructions and routed the wires around the weather stripping and it added a bit of noise. FP has since changed the instructions to remove the insulation tubing and just run both positive and negative wires. This probably would...

I used this from Crutchfield: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_007CSW9W20/Crutchfield-CSW9W-20.html
It was a lifesaver. I cut the 20' cable in half. Was able to run a single flexible cable from the ACM to the amp under the seat for the high level inputs. Then I used the other 10' to run from the...
I'm using the high level outputs from the ACM. The amp detects the high level signal and turns on.
I was prepared to tap into the fuse panel but fortunate that I was able to avoid that.
Some amps have the ability to use the high level signal inputs from the ACM to act as the remote turn on. That's what I used to power "on" my amp.
This thread was very helpful in helping me complete mine:

So after many countless hours I was able to complete the install on my son's Big Bend. I'm using a 5 channel Soundstream amp that fits perfectly under the driver's seat. It's still loose since we are fine tuning some of the gains and x-over freqs. I'm blocking the under seat vents and will mount...
2002TI is a nice ride. My first vehicle was a 87 Nissan truck with no A/C. All kidding aside, he is a good kid. Full time college student, works part time and he doesn't keep his mom up at night worrying about him.
After reading Phil's previous post I read thru the specs of the Soundstream...
I've replaced the fronts with Polks. The rears with the JBL sound bar (a graduation gift) and going to use an existing 10" Bazooka (removable) tube until the after market come up with a better location and option for a concealed location.
This is for my 19 year olds Big Bend. He is no...
