Thank you. I just wouldn't want to turn it into a slow accelerating dog or make it have to rev too high to maintain highway speed. I'm coming from an XJ though so I'm sure it's all better in every way drive train wise.
So let's say someone got a Base - 2.7 - 10A setup. What would going to 32 inch tires do with the stock gear ratio? Also, same question but with Sasquatch going down from 35s to 32s? (Can you tell I want 32s?)
It's interesting how little space appears to be available in the 2-Door compared to my XJ Cherokee. Honestly that will suck a little but that's the price of progress I guess. How did 1980s Jeep get so much usable space when it seems 2020s Ford can't? lol where did it all go?
@Granger Ford if someone out of state buys from your dealership how is the sales tax (or Ad Valorum for the GA people) calculated? Also, how are warranty and service issues handled?
If it's literally just the color you can have it wrapped in anything you want for probably $2500 or less. It's going to be really hard for me not to spring for a wrap in sage or OD green.
However in reality I'll probably be more apt to spend that $2500 on Sasquatch if I'm feeling froggy...
"Hey I know a guy who will cut you a good deal. How good a deal? Too hot to type out loud on our back alley unofficial forum! I can't tell you his Bronco pricing but I will tell you the exact details on every Mustang he's ever sold!"
OK, prodding over. Seriously though if there's a deal to be...
Based on the official comparison sheet and the website config leak the only way to have any lockers on Base is to get Sasquatch. Big Bend gives you the option for a rear locker without Sasquatch and Black Diamond comes with a rear locker without Sasquatch.
I do appreciate all the responses. This one in particular resonates with me. I'm not sure what Ford is charging 6-7k for on the upgrade from base to BD (or BB for that matter). Base can't add all the options or packages, but paying for a higher trim for the ability to add a package (which is...
I'm working up the guts to put a reservation in. I'm due for a promotion at work and once the build and price tool goes live I don't know if I'll be able to resist. The problem is I don't know what trim to get. Obviously I don't want to spend too much.
I drive almost exclusively in the city...
So ignoring the "hilarious" second post, I don't think the chosen MT would be able to handle 5000 to 7500 lbs towing if it's not even rated to mate up to the 2.7 V6. Or if you did go ahead and rate it for that, you'd have reliability issues.
So I don't know if I'll be able to get one of these Broncos yet as the world and money are tricky things, but if I do ill be coming from a 1997 XJ. They have really great interior space with the back seat tumbled. It will suck to buy a larger vehicle with less space.
Another consideration is...
LED lights like this are Pulse Width Modulated, meaning it's bursts of voltage rather than constant voltage (like in incandescent). If your shutter speed / capture frame rate is at a certain fraction of this PWM speed, you will see it both "on" and "off" some of the time. It does not happen to...
I'm really anticipating 2-Door cargo space measurements as I need to transport server equipment measuring 3.44 x 17.54 x 26.75 in, sometimes multiples at a time. Larger if they're still in the boxes.
