I finally cancelled. Over a year wait and the only communication was me calling them, every time.
Now I need to decide on one of the other manufacturers but I,m feeling a lil gun shy after all the waiting (not even including the wait to get the Bronco).
I've had these installed for a couple months now and I'm very happy with them. I was worried about my leg bumping against it but they manage to hold a 24oz. water bottle and other random gear without realizing it's there. I did find leaving the OEM nets in helpful for keeping smaller items...
Looks great! Curious, what do you have on the Outer Banks while these were being done? Thinking of doing the same (as well as new tires) but haven't looked into the cost of powder coasting and the timeline, etc.
Hey if it makes you smile every time you look in the Bronco and see that shovel, go for it!
I've discovered that the 4x4 world is much like the boating world, lots of stuff that seems crazy expensive to me but somewhere out there will be someone who just has to have it. $200 tow straps, $3k...
I removed mine using one of those 99 cent plastic scrapers. I just worked it around the edges, pulling it away as I went. Came off fairly easy. I didn't have much residue, just cleaned up using alcohol. If you feel it's resisting too much might want to apply some heat.
Dealer install or if you want to install them yourself, have them sent to your home. They are installed using adhesive. I went with dealer install due to having some other work done anyway.
I do like a nice looking watch; form and function in one neat package (my youngre son doesn't get it, "you can just look at your phone" is his comment). And now you've got me thinking about a Seiko I saw with what looked like an almost match for cactus gray on its face.
At least that will be...
Have you gone into the settings menu on screen? I think (can't check for myself at the moment) there's a setting for "lock all doors, lock drivers door, etc."
I used a plastic putty knife. Took them off easily with very little residue (which cleaned up quickly with a soft cloth and rubbing alcohol). I put one on the rear gate and saved the other one, sticking it on an old tupperware lid.
The Bronco logo on the gate took a little more effort as I was...
My OBX is pretty close to your proposed build. When you order the mod bumper you lose fog/running lights, which is one of the reasons I went with the aux switches. Plus they seem like a good value with the way evreything is pre-wired (though if you only add fog lights you could always install a...
I haven;t taken delivery yet but my delivery estimate is for Oct. 26- Nov. 1st. My dealer sent me a printout today showing it arrived at the railhead 2 days ago and she expects it will be at the dealer in 1-3 days, so right in the estimated time.
The printout was interesting, it showed it from...
I recently traveled from Florida to Pennsylvania and back. I saw my first "in the wild" in northern Florida. I pulled up to a red light, looked at the cross traffic and there it was, a cyber orange 4 door (maybe First Edition?) Pretty sure I did a double take as if I'd just seen Bigfoot...
Not a dealer, but my dealer recommended I contact them when it ships as that would give them enough time to get the item if they didn't have it on hand.
