I believe the rattle comes from the strut itself. If you shake the chrome piston rod it taps against the tube making the same sound you hear while driving. For me, it goes away with the top down but I hear it going over a bumpy road while in position 1 more frequently than with the top closed...

So I have the originals installed, went through the paint scratches and installed the modified parts (all good, IAG did solid with all that). Both sides are making a clicking/tapping sound in both the up or down position whenever I go over bumps. It's driving me nuts. Anyone else have that?

I think I'd rather put the Velcro or felt on the strut and PPF on the truck side. Avoid having that ugly black tape on the truck. But still need to figure out what's making the tapping sound while the top is up.

Some quality felt on the strut and PPF on roll bar will solve it. Touch up paint will fix most people's damage.
